i will start with 2 lines then u follow suit wit ur 2 lines but u must always rhyme with whatever i end with and i must always rhyme with whatever u end with? u cool?

a punchline is simply defined as a joke about someone or something, something said to ridicule someone
punchlines in rap or hip hop are like slam dunks  to basketball if done correctly, they bring the audience or crowd to their feet and make em respect ur rap. most rappers that have respect in the streets use a lotta punchlines.  typical example of punchline rappers. are 04ka , lloyd banks, ludacris, papoose, lil wayne uses some too but in a metaphorical way/.


example , lets take these few basic punchline as a basic example

''I treat my b*tch like an atm card" cuz i keep gettin money from her''.    luda
u wouldnt be signed even if u tie a p.o.p on ur leg  
u couldnt be hood even if u carry ur whole village on ur head  
am too ghetto /i put am for head like wyclef -olamide  
u couldnt rap tight  if they tie rubberband on ur waist    
even if they take ur flows to bar beach, u still couldnt cross river  like calabar   mi modified
ur flow always stay grounded like the nigerian airways     modey
u couldnt flow tight even if u was a girl on her period  
i will send shots to ur body so u can really feel the holy ghost

these are basic examples of a punchline , read thru this, u will be able to understand what a basic rap punchline is
so ur first exercise is to drop 10 examples of punchlines in ur opinion using the above as a yardstick,
before we move on to the second part of the lecture::
next lecture will be : advanced punchlines, oya do ur exercise first
