We just want the right thing done. No to intimidation and harassment. Let the court be the judge. Chioma should be presumed innocent until a court of competent jurisdiction declares her guilty. Until then, the police should stop harassing her.

Obidients are terrible. If Erisco food folds alot of jobs fold because of jobless olosho seeking attention

Go to court and battle Chioma there like civilised people. Stop using the police to harass and bully her.

● Eric, founder of Erisco Foods, acknowledges the presence of sugar in the tomato mix Chioma reviewed, suggesting, "You can add water and use it to eat bread." He draws a comparison between the tin tomato mix and "butter" and "jam." Given that jam often contains high levels of sugar, it's understandable why Chioma voiced her concern.

● This comparison has prompted some analysts to raise questions regarding false advertising and lack of information. Notably, the amount of sugar added is unspecified, and there's no nutritional breakdown available. Additionally, the use of a personified image of a tomato chef preparing a meal with the tomato mix jam raises further concerns. Moreover, critics argue that the '100% natural' label on Erisco canned tomatoes, tomato mix, and tomato pastes is vague and misleading.

● Chioma faces accusations of violating the Cyber Crimes Act 2015 for stating that the product is killing people. However, some analysts have disputed this claim, suggesting it's an assumption rather than a fact. They point out that Chioma used "ki***ing," an 8-character word, while "killing" is only 7 characters long. Therefore, according to these analysts, it's inappropriate to impose an assumption on a vague word, especially in a case involving a criminal offense that requires evidence 'beyond reasonable doubt'.

● Nevertheless, others argue that even if "killing" was intended, it still doesn't justify the intimidation. They contend that the word strongly emphasizes concerns about the potential negative health effects of consuming such a sweet product. Additionally, section 24 of the Cybercrime Act 2015, which Eric and the police are relying on, is controversial, as it has been declared null and void by the ECOWAS court. Ribadu has also pledged that the law will be reviewed. However, while Eric and the police are entitled to test it in Nigerian courts, they should refrain from intimidating and bullying the pregnant mother and allow the court to perform its duty.

● The Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has declared Chioma didn't violate any known extant law.

Mtcheww how will a full Nigerian not see through their deceit? In as much as president Tinubu is not meeting up to expectations yet, I seriously doubt if Obi and his LP would have done better.

Only those who don't know these politicians will come and argue blindly

Alex Otti and Zulum are a perfect match to rescue Nigeria.

Obi would have performed far better than Tinubu though.

Politics / Obi Makes U-Turn, Congratulates President-Elect, Tinubu by 0jgti7gko08yhfe: 1:59pm On Mar 22, 2023
The sponsor of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Cup, Chief Madu Obi , has congratulated President-elect, Bola Tinubu, even as he urged him to consider sports as a means for youth development.

Obi in a statement yesterday, said sport is a veritable tool to develop the youth in the country, adding talented youngsters can better their lots by earning fantastic income through their participation in sports.

He stated that Nigeria has the capacity to turn sports into a multi-billion dollars ventures where many people, including the youths, coaches and many others stakeholders, can benefit from.

He said: “I congratulate our President-elect for his victory at the polls. However, the focus for him is to develop the youths and I am sure sports are one of the avenues to do that. Tinubu must also know that the sports sector can become a huge money spinner where a lot of people can be employed.

“I am sure that the exploits of the like of Victor Osimhen who is the leading scorer in Serie A has caught the attention of the world but he started his career in Nigeria. I also know that there are many more like him in the country.

“All they need is support and the enabling environment to thrive,” he added.

He also urged Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to continue his giant stride in the development of sports facilities so that talented youngsters in the state can have places to train and hone their skills.

Obi, who also sponsors the annual Ramadan Cup involving teams from Lagos and Ogun states, urged football fans to turn up en mass in Igando and Igbesa where the competition kick off this weekend, while thanking Cardinal James Odunmbaku for his unrelenting support for the tournament.

In games slated for the weekend, Great Feet will take on Pacos FC, Sterling FC will battle Royyan FC, while Future Star Feeders and Kay properties FC lock horns in the last game.
