princenayo: Let us be objective in our assessment, apart from the current security issues the country is battling with, The president has done considerably well in the area of Infrastructure. I have witness a good number of Power projects going on which have bought improvement in electricity.
With less than 1000MW achieved so far by the presentlty administration after the billions already pumped into the power sector since last year, this administration has done more than poor and failed woefully in my opinion.

For a president who receives N1bn annually as food allowance he certainly has no excuse to why he cannot achieve anything meaningful in 24 months.

I am waiting for the deluded DEDEIKE to prove the below wrong and tell me why the most expensive govt in the world should be applauded by mere maintenace projects which 50% was initiated by past administrations.

EARNING CHAT:
In the United States, while the
minimum wage is $1,257 (N191, 667), a US lawmaker earns $15,080 (N2.3m) per month. In the United Kingdom, a lawmaker earns $8,686(N1.3m) monthly while the gross national minimum wage is $1,883 (N283, 333) per month. Also, Nigerian lawmakers earn higher than their counterparts in Sweden. With a monthly pay of $7,707 (N1.2m), a lawmaker in Sweden will need to work for over 12 years to equal what a Nigerian senator earn per annum.
The president of the United States
takes home an anual salary of $

illicit quarterly allocation which is not

Effectively, a Nigerian senator was
taking home at least $1.40m ($1.28m

Senate Deputy President Ike Ekweremadu gets N150 million per quarter or N50 million a month. Mark and Ekweremadu earns in 4 months, six times what the UK Prime Minister earns in a year. David Cameron goes home with £190,000 per anum (N43, 700,000) In a newspaper news article entitled ‘An Assembly for looting’ written by Musikilu Mojeed with Elor Nkereuwem, the authors rightly claimed that each of the 360 members of the House of Representatives were getting N35
million in cash money in quarterly
allocation while each of the 109
Senators pockets N48 million each.
These allocations have however been
slashed by 20% to N27 million ($

respectively due to the 20% reduction
requested by the late president.

Very well said. I don't think the president or the parliamentarians should be blamed. The blame lies on you, myself and everyone on this forum. What have we done to change this trend? Insulting these guys online will never change things.

It's as simple as making do with what's available or fighting the system to a total standstill and an eventual overhaul.

So, what say you? We continue to insult them without effecting any change? Or we fight them and effect changes?

Any leader deserves the honour of his people, because they put him in there. More so, any leader elected into authority is accountable to the electors.

PS: I am neither Pro nor Anti GEJ. I stand for the development of our country and proper governance.

senator earns at least 8 times as much as an American senator and more than 3 times the American president.
Whereas a Senator in the U.S earns
N21, 146,000, the same as a member
of the House of Representatives; a UK
Member of Parliament earn £64,766
(N14, 896,180) In other words, a Federal Legislator in Nigeria is paid more than double what a Member of British Parliament earns per annum.
Senate President David Mark alone
takes N250 million quarterly or N83.33 million per month.
180,000) and N38 million ($253,333)
respectively due to the 20% reduction
requested by the late president.

you be "OGBOLOO"
ever asked you'r self why the house want's the president impeached ? Its because of the information you gave above.

REduce spendings, reduce spending, reduce spendings !! IS it too dificult to ask. the PREsident cuts their constituency allocation, fights corruption and it hits them the most, soo he should be crusified.

Most of you don't know governaace, the reason why "JONATHAN" is your most pronounced word this year.

Tell them o! Some people cannot even do well as leaders in village meetings yet they are here ranting "GEJ has not done this, GEJ has not done that"

oga, do you or do you not agree that the present impeachment treath against the president is s a result of his fight against corruption e.gfarook their collegue, desperate step to reduce wastage e.g cut in constituency allocations, the subsidy investigations, e.t.c
yes or no. Lets start from there first.

Secondly,
even if jonathan is the highest earning president in the world, shouldn't the house together with the presidence work towards a slash in salaries?

but on a serious note, do you know you've made a biased comparison there?

Why didn't you paste the allowances of all the presidents and leaders you listed above? You only provided their basic salary. Are you saing they don't get commisions.

I just took note.

What are all these figures? That we spend more than white people on our governments? We already know that, so what? In Nigeria every politician has a to settle his people. Politics in Nigeria has always been like that. If you were in Nigeria you would see them buying "empowerment equipment" for their constituents and giving them away free. 50 motor bikes , 60 sewing machines etc. they do this often as well as the other daily settlement that they have to do. Like it or hate it, it is how WE OPERATE.

So get your heads out of your azzes and move on to something productive only you bleating like sheep here are interested in wasting time on such crap.

Let me point out the lies in this thread. First Afikpo Okigwe road is not under any GEJ construction. Its been a one way road and it was done during Obj's tenure & completed. Secondly, we have not seen any light in my area for d past one week. Thirdly, the yola campus of Nig Law Sch is still abandoned whereas Yenagoa took off with about 200 students in mostly rented facilities. GEJ does not give a DAMN

Johndoe100: I don't know who a supporter or believer is with regards to our president. I do know who a supporter and a believer is when it comes to terrorism. They are Muslims (for this post called muzzies), muzzies have killed and maimed hundreds nay thousands of innocent Nigerians without remorse and yet you have these same vampires and their like showing their faces in public without remorse. Muzzies share a COLLECTIVE guilt for the activities of their brothers who maim and kill. Why? very simple, as an example why is the OP of this thread not a "supporter" of GEJ? Why are all THE MUZZIES on this forum anti GEJ? Who do they support? I will answer the questions:-
1. GEJ is a CHRISTIAN, muzzies cannot abide the idea of Christains leading them.
2. They support "true muzzies", in this case the murderer from the north ayotalah Buhari.
3. The killers of Christians are true muzzies by the warped standards of the muzzies. Everyone who is reading this and is a Christian knows the truth of this statement.

Now back to his excellency's achievements, I shall only say that everyone in Nigeria is a witness to the new anti corruption stance of this administration. most area are enjoying an unprecedented level of electricity supply. I could go on but even for these two alone the first year has been a success.
WHO BE THIS MUMU ZOMBIE WEY NO KNOW THE MEANING OF CHRISTIAN? HOW IS JONA CHRIST LIKE? THIS IS WHO JONA IS...

Those baboons are running their own show and need to be given a jolt back to reality. Only it has to be the Nigerian people doing that but they seem to be asleep still. My fingers are sore from writing emails that are never replied to public NASS email addresses that probably never checked.
