Why do you guys want to start an Imo state thread, there is a general IGBO thread on Nairaland with more than 400 pages, we Igbos need to stick together instead of braking up in fractions lets come together and fight the injustice called Nigeria. Just my little 2 cents.  |

Freewilly: I couldn't agree more. This thread is wrong wrong wrong. An Igbo man from Ogwashiuku is no less than an Igbo from Afikpo as long as he calls himself an Igbo man. Once upon a time,my people were in East Central state then I hailed from Imo state,now Abia state. Does that make me any different from an Mbano person? Let's end this thread. Igbos need to be united as one for we are one. All this kporakpo state,village nonsense is what has kept us at this level. Had we rallied around one Igbo man we may have had an Igbo president today. Let's stop this nonsense because this is where it perpetuates. The sad truth of Enugu chasing away workers from Anambra after the state creation and Owerri doing same to Abia state indigenes is sad. It brings nothing but disunity and I will not fail to point out this ugly trend on nairaland. Seun please close down this thread. It is useless! |
