More names Progress, Prosper Perpetual (pronounced Perpetwa). The name Justus has become the name Justice in Warri. Miracle. Ever heard of Thank God? Yes its true. They named the child 'Thank God ' in their native Isoko language and for an English name they just decided to translate the name to English. The name Goodluck shouldn't be a suprise. Names like Romanus, Epiphanus and all the -Uses i can understand since they are catholic names. But hey, my fathers people ( the Ilaje's, just open the old testament , check out one of the genealogies and pick a name. Know any Obadiah's? (Pronounced Obadya) |
