The filling we did on this foundation has sunk down so much after many days of constant rains. Even as I type this, the rains are falling in buckets. Thank God for the foresight of good planning, I made provisions for extra trips of filling sand and I am just going to call for more sand and continue the filling.
I need the rains to sink the foundation, but I need the rains to stop so I can start molding blocks. What should my prayer points be?

These prices are based on my present location and might vary from any other location. This cost may be enough to do it in your location or a little more or less. Like I mentioned earlier, 2 days is well enough to get this finished.

this is the way I want the whole rooms to look, we are getting more laterite sand tomorrow Sunday as work continues.

And I will cast the German floor on top of these stones bought for the purpose.

Trips of sharp sand are going in as we prepare for casting.

If the rains show some signs of receding, we are going to start molding blocks in this site as from tomorrow. Every arrangements has been made awaiting the rains. We shall be needing over 2000 blocks at this stage.

More supplies by tomorrow. I interviewed some more workers today, took them to a site and tested their competence practically, one passed and will be joining us in this site. Nothing beats expertise, this new guy will cost more (he is asking for extra pay) but I think the final result will be worth the expense. More about this later.

No, the way I normally handle those things are to shield my payments to the new guy from the old guys. I can pay the whole same amount and then give the balance later to the new guy.
It sure brings resentment when regulars think you are favouring new workers. But I like to deploy them in a way to negate that. I know a team of my workers who cannot work with the second team, and I always keep them apart. Management is not easy o

Work is still very much in progress here as we prepare to cast this German floor. We have been getting supplies even till yesterday night and more materials are expected today. Cement, sand and gravel were offloaded yesterday evening.

The boys making blocks has been busy producing hundreds of blocks yesterday. Another skilled team will join them today and I hope to have up to 1000 blocks in total by this evening.

Every other thing is going as planned as work progresses. There should be pictures here this evening. We are already on the move.

more blocks are being made, every thing is moving normally.

Work continues today, the benefits of skilled workmanship has started to show on this project. We are trying to close the gap and deliver this project as planned.
