You really think so? i don't think lagos was that pretty back then. Worse, Ibadan still looks very awful as of when i left naija. |

Someone needs to tell present day Nigerian architects to take a leaf out of the book of their predecessors. Look at the clean simple structures. Quite impressive. No Greek colonnades or 45 degree angled roof in sight, those monstrosities that seem to have emerged from the mind of an infant. |

Wow, nice pictures. Its a pity that we did not build upon what the colonial masters did. I believe very strongly that if we did not 'throw' them out in 1960, we may be better off (structurally) than we are now. |
