Any way, I'll still post what you requested for incase of next time, and any NLer who wishes to visit the state.
You can get a bus going to Oshogbo from Lagos here:
U can get from Ojota, from Ikorodu and I think from Ketu aswell.
Or you can travel with train, from oshodi train station

Cheap hotels:
Gazah hotel. Dada estate, Oshogbo
Capital hotel. Capital, Oshogbo
Leisure spring.

Interior decoration:
Laden furnitures.
(Sorry, don't have much idea about that)

Best way to move:
You can charter a taxi, or bus.

Clothing, textile and bead work:
Igbona market. Oshogbo
Orisumbare market. Oshogbo

Between olaiya and old garage. You can ask around.

@ paul john. Thanks. Cancelled my trip because soeone said this is osun oshogbo festival period so things will be expensive. Thanks for ur post. Very helpful. Im more confident to go now once the festival period passes. I dont speak yoruba, i hope prices will not double due to that oooo. Lol!

Mine is not every weekend, just like once in a month.
But I think you'll easily get that of Lagos-ibadan. May be you can try and stay along Abere(Oshogbo) very early in the morning, hopefully you might get free ride.

It's cool to make your trip now. About the yoruba thing, I think you shouldn't have problem with the furnitures, beads maker. Not sure about that of the market women. But you can try and meet anyone you think can speak english around. If you're Igbo, you can as well work into some sales shop, they're quite many there, find anyone you think can interpret for you.

The electricity there is superb. Nigeria will be so good If that is the way we have electricity everywhere.

Doesn't look like the Osun state I was 4 days ago, went on a Tour, Was in Ondo,(Idanre Hill, In ekiti and Lastly Osun, went to the waterfalls, Climbed the Hill, went as far as the Third stage, and further) got pictures of all

The last time I went to Osun-State, the power supply in the area I stayed was like 19/24hrs daily. The state is also peaceful.
