Since d supreme court judgement on 10/7/2012 dismissing d case filled by d Cross River State govt against d Akwa Ibom State govt over disputed 76 oil wells, there av been so much negative utterance 4rm the cross river state govt, politicians n elders. There is no day you will not hear 4rm d radio or tv how cros river politicians and elders talk negatively about the good and peace lovin people of Akwa Ibom State, calling them all sort of names, thereby impacting negative thoughts on the mind of cross river youths about their sister state, akwa ibom state.

According to attorney general of Akwa Ibom State, cross river owed akwa ibom state govt the sum of 18.4bn naira btw jan 2008 to may 2012 over dis said oil wells. Despite this the Akwa Ibom govt went on in seeking a political and peaceful agreement with their sister state, which the cross river govt turned down several times. The Akwa Ibom state govt even sent a delegation led by Senator Anietie Okon to convince d cross river state govt to resolve d case in a political manner and not in the court but the cross river govt still gave a deaf hear to it.
Governor Godswill Akpabio even wrote a letter to d President, stating dat he will be giving cross river a monthly grant of 250m naira but his cross river counterpart still turned down d offer and still insist in pursing d case in court.

Governor Liyel Imoke should be even ashamed of his self, he was the person who took d case to court and the same person also to aproach d court n tell dem to suspend the judgement becos they have not gotten enough evidence. Pls is dat not a very funny thing?
Yet cross riverians goes about accusing the supreme court of collecting bribe from akwa ibom and delivering the case in favour of akwa ibom.

Another funny statement i heard from an elderstateman in cross river state Chief James Akpanika who said dat, 'By right , d oil wells do not belong to any state, rather they belong to the federal govt'. And this statement raises a big question : if the oil wells belongs to the federal government as James Akpanika said, then why did Cross River State took Akwa Ibom to court and why are they crying about the lost of the case at the apex court.

How I love to see dis imoke govnor cry on camera. Anytym I tune to crbc fm is all about whinnin and sobbin by these crossrivereans over a court judgement went bad. Sore lossers. But akpabio dey vex 4 promisin to give paltry 250m 2 a state. Imoke was wise enuf not to accept de greek gift

@ Amaham, i also wish if i could see him cry on media also. Cos his own media propaganda is too much. It is ill-hearted people like imoke who are encouraging ethnic voilence in the north for just no good reason.
This issue is btw akwa ibom, cross river and the federal govt but why is Gov Liyel Imoke generalising the case and calling akwa ibomites all sort of names and even went as far as saying that it was this oil well issue that made him banned the commercial motorcycle operation in calabar, because majority of the commercial motorcyclists were akwa ibomites and he want them out of his state.
