Funny enough,av neva seen anyone who won any of their promos,just get to see d winners on tv or newspaper pages.Their who wants to be a millionaire is one of d greatest scams ever visited on nigeria.They make several millions every wk frm dat program alone.Again their network,particularly BB& internet has bn terrible of late,so y dis irritating promo,maybe to top dere hyundai scam!

Airtel gave me d phone am using now.nokia x2.i won it 2010.it was during one of deir programmes on cool f.m.i only answered a question.den,d phone was N20000.i think it is now 15000.

'EmptyHen' again. That reminds me, its almost 3 months, let me look for the mtn sim and recharge so I'll still be active or better still make a one second call to the mtn sim with my airtel and wait for another 90 days or till number portability takes off. Aeroplane ko, Legsuz ni.

Okay, i'll start with a disclaimer. I am not an MTN subscriber. Left the network for Etisalat.

However, I think everyone here is transferring aggression over their bad network.

Fact 1: People have won in their promo. I have three friends(one girl and two guy) who have won various amounts(small and large) in their past promotions and they almost made me buy another MTN line. Infact, e remain small I for marry the girl, only she was 18 years and gave the money to her dad to grow his business grin

Fact 2: If you take the trouble of visiting their website, there is a list of winners.
Here is the list for the 1 billion naira promo they did last year. - http://www.mtnonline.com/1billionnairamegareward/winners.

By the way, have other networks published their list of winners? Other companies that do promotions, do all of them publish their list of winners? Does anyone remember those pepsi promotions back in the days, when they use to promise Daewoo Racersgrin I wonder how many people won them back then.

Again, I checked today's Vanguard, and they said you can take the plane or the cash equivalent, so all join.

Please let us not tell lies against MTN.

PS: This is another fact that I can testify now sha - Etisalat's Internet is ten times better than MTN's and I can testify!! grin

Reading the vanguard newspaper advert again, they said you just have to recharge at least N200 and then you qualify for draw. So technically you are not supposed to do anything. Just go about your business like before and see if you'll get lucky. If dem dash you, you no go take?

The only sensible thing you just said is that their internet and BB service is poor. But haba... how can you say that one of my favorite progams - Who Wants to be a Millionaire that we see the full names and faces of people who win millions... *smh* This is just pure rubbish and you know it.
