It is a common saying all over especially in this country, whenever social vices crop up, the blame is easily transferred to the youths (age 18 – 40)! I belong to the school of thoughts that says; ‘charity begins at home’, these youths learn whatever we see them do from somewhere, if it’s not from their parents as a result of hereditary habits and lack of proper upbringing, then it is from their peers (who also come from a home) or the strong influence of their environment. Indeed, if the truth must be told, it is the adults (over 50s) that are to blame for whatever vices that cut across this country.
