Any change in the ability to taste is known as Dysgeusia. A bitter taste can make a person lose his appetite, a constant bitterness in the mouth prevents him from eating or enjoying anything. Causes of dysgeusia can be manifold. Some of them include: Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease(GERD). In GERD, an individual's stomach juices or acids are pushed back upwards into the throat and thus he or she experiences a bitter taste in the mouth. A surge in estrogen levels, especially in women during periods or pregnancy can also cause it. Respiratory problems, baterial infections, oral problems, jaundice, diabetes, liver or kidney failure, metal poisoning, hormonal imbalance as wel as certain diseases, drugs and medications also cause it. If you have this problem, contact LifeCare Botanic Centre on 07038871009 for cure.
