Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Basic Studies Programme of the University of Port Harcourt for the 2012/2013 academic session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess Wa. ssCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level with credit pa. sses in at least 5 relevant subjects with a minimum score of 180in the2012/2013 UTME. JAMB subject combination should be strictly adhered to.

it depends on your taste...if yhu want a self con. Dat will be arnd 80-120 & if its a 1 room apartment yhu can get it frm 40-60k...houses dat are close 2 skul are more expensive

You can get the form @ U & c microfinance bank.@ uniport ot any first bank branch nationwide..& for those who want 2 process d form themselves....proceed to the bank & pay the amount for the confirmation code den go to uniport.edu.ng....& enta ecampus.....& den you will c online applications den frm dere yhu can go on wid d reg.

The basic entrance exam is not difficult. Atleast 95% will gain admission inti the program....the problem is the transition frm basic to year 1.......the program consist of two semesters each hvn an exam @ d end....you will take 5 courses...maths,humanities, bio,phy ,chem. Afta the final exam students who meet the pass mark will be rank orderd in a ratio of 70:30 elds :nonelds.....& mind yhu pass mark vary frm department to department

Hi every1 wishing 2 take up d basic programm, d entrance exam is not difficult @all...just use ur jamb past Q 4 revision..d main tin s crossing ova 2 yr1. You ve 2 knw u re coming 2 read hard cos ts very competitive.. But wit God u wil make t.
