Roddick squeezed and used up every single ounce of his very limited talent(ditto Hewitt). And that is to his credit.

Take away his fantastic serve and what you are left with is an above average player. And this has been shown to be the case on several occasions.

IMO the biggest accolade that can be given to him is not the Grandslam he won, rather the other finals he got into. Without a certain Federer in his way we will be talking about A multiple GrandSlam Champion. Not bad for an extremely limited player.
