Your Favorite Street Meal : Boli, Boiled/Roasted Corn, or Roasted Yam?

At times we are just to addicted to some of these street meals but due to tight schedule and sometime 'pride' we can just go to this 'joints' to buy our lovely road side "macdonalds".

I was just infront of the office gate when suddenly my throat started becoming watery for boiled corn and pear. I had to reverse and drive some 5mins to get it, by the time I returned I knew there would have been something wrong.

I call up friends when they are coming over to my office or house to buy me my favorites (Boli and groundnut or boiled corn and pear). They usually don't seem to know why the urge to eat it. I don't know either but can just deny my stomach what it is itching to digest.

What's your favourite street meal?[right][/right]

Pounded yam/white soup, pepper soup rice, fried rice and rice and stew

roasted yam and fish
gala
plantain chips
cheese balls
roasted corn and pear


i like suya snail but its risky. .because they dont really wash the snails well
my cousin was sick for a week when she ate raod side snails

If not for one thing i would have asked "how does this affect the price of ........

Anyways can't get enough of Bole whenever i'm in PH from a particular woman, other than that i buy lollipops from abok1 people everyday(if that one na meal)

Non of those listed by the Op. I find them unhygienic. Dust, catarrh, car exhaust, urine, hands from God knows where, spit, lice, unnecessary bacteria from sneezing, engine oil from mechanics ....the list is endless.

Anything packaged is ok by me. Gala and fanmilk yogo.

Roasted yam and palmoil and pepper. It is not feminine but I like it a lot.

Mine has been and aways will be abacha (african salad), roasted yam with ugba,red oil,onions and plenty pepper, with this two i can even fall in love
