you seem to be angry and your consistency for resorting to insults when having a civil discussion with someone are the two primary reasons i feel you're not emotionally ready to have this discussion. I had not intention to rile anger in you by stating the illegality of a partnership with foreign parties. If the ANC wants to go to the democrats and learn that's not a partnership, it's a tutelage and once the democrats begin gaining from the ANC, in other words establishing tutelage, it's a felony. i'm speaking on the subject at hand. It was called a partnership, a partnership which is classified by mutual benefit, is a felony in the US with a foreign political entity. If it's tutelage and the ANC wants to go and learn from the democrats, that's not a partnership and shouldn't be called so. Words are taken very seriously in US law and this article because of it's language is slandering the Democratic party by saying it's preparing to commit a felony (partnership) This is my last attempt at clarifying any confusion that may be abound. Whether it fails or succeeds my taste for this debate as weened and agreeing to disagree is the most adult thing either of us can do.
Hey, there is nothing US law that forbids political partnerships with foreign parties. America is championing democracy around the globe, this partnership falls under that classification.............American policy, not American politics! We are not interfering with their politics, we are partnering on their policy. 1 Like |

I still don't know why Nigerian politics can't think beyond their nostrils... You have tried the American form of democracy and system of government for more than 40 years, and it has failed... Why can't you look elsewhere and try something new?? Nigeria isn't America and we've nothing in common - America thrives on its military complex, something that isn't synonymous with Nigeria... I don't know if this alleged 'partnership' is just to make these people look cool because it's illegal... These ACN guys are just as bad as PDP - they don't care about the people, they only care about their deluded and egotistical minds.... Everyone claims they're AWOISTS - but Awolowo would never have done this... ACN, PDP, PCP - different names, but the same clowns... Try something new.. Dammit... Chinese model, UK model, Brazilian model - try something new for crying out loud... The flawed American system has FAILED!! 2 Likes |

The world is moving to a bi-polar/multi-polar world - but Nigerian politicians are still stuck in the cold war era, where America dictates everything smh.. |

ACN is free to add to the burgeoning pockets of Americans. But I want to remind their gullible followers that it cannot work! ACN is a tribal party, while democratic party is a national party. ACN is filled with partisan leaders at their helm to the extent that bipartisanship is lost in their dictionary. When those Democrats learns about the toxic atmosphere of Yoruba politics, they will fled to US with the cool cash they separated from their magas resting in their banks. |

Every country has opposition parties, with ideologies different from that of the main party - but in Nigeria, all the political parties have the same ideologies... They all act based on the extreme capitalism playbook - the same people, with the same ideologies... That shows that there's really no opposition party in Nigeria and that's why I don't take these clowns seriously.. At least in the first republic we had different parties, with different ideologies... Action Group(socialists), NCNC(capitalists), and NPC(Feudalists)... There were opposition parties that would bring something different to the table, but in today's Nigeria - everything is just the same... They need to overhaul this crap, and form real opposition parties... All these clowns are birds of a feather.. 2 Likes |
It seems like you are new to the antics of that fool called Eko ile. You can never have any civil debate with him. Can't you see that he has slyly labelled you "an Igbo posting from a cybercafe in Aba"? These folks thrives on tribalism and partisanship, and that is the cardinal reason why the so-called "partnership" can never work. Any folk who tells them the truth is automatically labelled an Igbo. Moreover, he and his ilk debates with so much emotion on any issue that concerns Tinubu. Just like u've just remarked, they suffers from inferiority complex disease. Come to think of it. Do you think that those two past democratic governors are ignorant of American laws? Sir, they knew about all these limitations. But remember that these folks have been working as lobbysts for sometimes with little success. So they are happy that they've landed a kill with gullible Africans. Every party official in US knows that going into a partnership with a foreign party is an offence that is close to treasonable felony. US guards their democracy jealously and wouldn't want it to be influenced in any way by foreign power. And you think that those former governors are not aware that those laws exist? |
