Hi peeps! I've seen so many posts on how to browse free with celtel line either on PC or phone, or both but seems that they're not real because when I try it, all it keeps saying is connected but not browsing(The page cannot be displayed) when I log in/on to any site or try to open Internet Explorer. Now, I want to know if the service is free and how to make it browse on my PC. I need the settings/configuration from anybody. Thank you, I appreciate. |

I have an MTN line which I browse very well with it. The problem is just with my CELTEL though it works fine on my phone but I want to do the same on my PC. I need someone to help me with the real Internet settings. Reply can be posted or sent to my e-mail: tobidaflava@yahoo.com. Thank you! |

tobidaflava, Internet activation isn't available .so try configuring your pc with the settings you use in your phone |

jst help this dude get the problem solved & if u can't, then shut d f**k up instead of abusing each other. Hey dude, wat u need 2 do is use the same settings on ur wat for ur pc. If its Nokia pc suite, use d same APN. |

The WAP (celtel) is connected but I just can't browse with it on my PC. I don't mind wheather/either the service is free or not its working fine on my fone and all I just want to expand it on the PC. Lets be helpful to ourselfs! We are one. THANKS. |

Its quite simple 1) once your phone is connected, open internet explorer. 2)Click on tools and go to internet options. 3) Click on the connections tab, click on your phone in the list and click settings button next to it. 4)Check the box ( Use a proxy server for this connection) and (By pass bla bla bla). 5) for celtel, enter 172.18.254.5 and port 8080. Check your phone proxy. If using a different network, check the proxy settings in phone and do the same thing. 6) Click OK and reconnect. Dats all dude! **i now see how God made the earth in six days! |
