But after 8 years of Obi and another 6 years of Obiano there is nothing good about Anambra. Just compare and contrast

Lol old pictures from 15yrs ago, there's no such place as this in present day Onitsha.

See your Owerri after Udenwa wasted 8yrs, Ohakim wasted 4yrs, and okorocha wasted 8yrs, all of them focused in Owerri but still yet there's nothing to show despite huge debt of over 200 billion. I spit on Imo state lol

Abagworo imo state hasn't made any progress since 1999 till date. Some projects done by okoroawusa are all substandard and it is being demolished. Is been one step forward and 10 steps backward in Imo state. See the substandard culvert tunnel that okoroawusa wasted money to build has been demolished

Bag of gworo mechie Onu nsi gi there. What happened to Nkpor FLYOVER was erosion and it was the approach road, not the bridge itself. The bridge was never affected, so Obiano fixed the erosion and everything fall into place.

Oh as usual the hypocrisy creeps in. So Obiano did well repairing the substandard bridge built by stingiko Peter Obi that actually did collapse but you were celebrating the demolition of a tunnel built by Okorocha termed substandard but yet to show any signs of collapse because you hate Imo State. Why did you not ask Obiano to demolish all those substandard bridges and roads built by Peter Obi but rather criticize him for those he has failed to gix and praise him for fixing others like this Nkpor bridge.

Meanwhile this is a another Peter Obi Obibia bridge in Awka already collapsed while the entire substandard road is ridden with potholes.

Orlu remains better than Nnewi which is its grade in urbanization. Owerri beats Onitsha and Awka hands down. You keep deceiving only the gullible not me that knows every damn vilkage and road in Imo, Anambra and Abia States. You can lie about some parts of Enugu and Ebonyi to me but you see Anambra, Imo and Abia I know everywhere

Orlu is a mess just like Owerri. Nnewi is more economically viable than Owerri. Onitsha is like America compare to anywhere in Imo state. Awka is London compare to your shithole Owerri.

Do you have any road as this in any part of your shithole called Owerri hahahaha

This is how we roll in Awka. cheesy

Abagworo Imolites saw FLYOVERS for the first when their fore fathers visited Anambra. Till date imo is yet to complete a single usable FLYOVER. What then has Imo state achieved since 1999? Nothing. Shameful

If Onitsha is up to 2 million residents what then is the population of the entire Anambra State? Onitsha is at most 1 million in total population. Port-Harcourt is not even up to 2 million not to talk of Onitsha

Mechie onu nsi gi there. There are millions of Imolites in Onitsha. Imolites that live in Fegge are over 700k, because it is Imolites that dominates Head Bridge drug market. The Imolites living in Awada could be up to 500k. The ones at 3-3 about 200k, the ones at GRA Phase 1 and 2, about 10k, the ones at federal housing about 50k. This is being conservative with figures.

Please, mention the local government, the name of your rep and the ONGOING constituency project.

It's high time we call those guys to order

Onitsha isn't as big as Aba and Port-Harcourt from all indications and there are far more Imolites in Aba and Port-Harcourt than Onitsha. The imolites in Onitsha are from Orlu and they own half of the small town especially Awada and headbridge. It was jealousy from this that made a one time Nafdac head engage in propaganda against hardworking Imolites who of course are far wealthier and civilized than the natives.

I don't know about Abia, but if you follow the logic of Anambra, you'll understand the fixation.

How many things are located in the state capital? Go through all the N-local governments and see development there

Do you know how many factories/Industries are located in Nnewi alone? What of the fact that the government made that possible by passing gas line through the area?

The whole idea is that there should be something in those "rural" areas to attract investors, be it roads, electricity, population, just something.

Mainly by the sons and daughters of Nnewi. People who usually fight over government handouts are losers.

Bag of gworo see how your dirty mouth is smelling. So you just wanna lie to yourself simply to feel good.

You claimed that your migrant Imolites are more civilised but couldn't stay in their state. You claimed they are more civilised but couldn't produce the likes of Zik, Achebe, Chike Obi, Emegwali, Soludo and so many others. You claimed your people are richer but couldn't produce the likes of Ibeto, Emeka Offor, Artur Eze, Coscharis etc. Infact just one billionaire from Anambra can buy the whole of Imo state and turn it to farmland. Don't challenge your superiors.

Anambra people can never envy Imo state people because Anambra people are by far more successful than Imo people. You don't envy your slave, it is the slave that envy his master.

Encyclopedia confirmed that Onitsha metropolis is the largest in this part of the world. Onitsha has grown beyond the original Onitsha north and south you used to know 40yrs ago. Someone at Nsugbe, Ogbaru, Ogidi, Ogbunike etc considers themselves as being in Onitsha.

There are millions of Imolites based in Onitsha. It didn't even start today, right from 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s. That's why there are some streets in Fegge named after towns in Imo state, like Oguta road, Obodo Ukwu road, and so many others. It points to the history of Imolites with Onitsha.

The first generation of Imolites that left Imo state for Onitsha in search of greener pasture are the reason those roads/streets were named after those towns. It didn't happen by a magic wand. They made it in Onitsha, bought land, starting building and eventually some new areas they occupied then was named after their towns.

Pharmaceutical/Drug market at Headbridge is almost 100% dominated by Imolites. That alone will tell you the population of Imolites in the city.

Information had it that the popular Onitsha based pastor Odumeje, that his grandfather moved to Onitsha in the 1920s, that was how their generation started. This is so with so many Imolites.

But the government provided good roads and helped in channelling gas to the area

Even if you join Onitsha to Nnewi it is still not as big as Aba, Owerri, Benin and Port-Harcourt. From Owerri town to Umuagwo is a longer distance than Onitsha to Nnewi.

Owerri is a small town. Even Awka is 5x bigger than Owerri in size, google has made everything simple through satellite. Onitsha metro that has swallowed up over 3-4 LGAs outside the traditional areas is even much bigger

Anambra is 2nd smallest state in Nigeria while Imo state is the 3rd smallest state in Nigeria. So how is Egbema/Ohaji half of Anambra in size? You must be taking weed now.

Imo is simply larger than Anambra in size but Anambra has more population because of traditional dense rural central Igbo area that has majority of it in Anambra. Most of such rural areas are falsely classified as urban because of housing proximity but consists of mostly indigenous people. The area surrounds a triangle of Orlu, Nnewi and Awka. Towns like Ihiala, Uli, Awo Idemili, Okija, Akokwa, Uga, Igboukwu, Ekwulobia, Okporo, Akpulu, Osumenyi, Umuaka, Awo, Unubi etc. form parts of that core.

If you claim Ogidi as Onitsha then it is not wrong to claim Obinze, Mgbirichi and Umuagwo as Owerri. Even Orji, Mbieri, Orogwe, Ogbaku, Irete, Egbeada, Ubomiri etc. can be called Owerri too since people working in Owerri live in those places.

That google is Wikipedia edited by a less knowledgeable individual. How can Owerri have 1.4 million people? Owerri is not developed like Aba and Onitsha where more people can live on small space of land because of 4 to 5 floors residential areas. The only multilevel residential area in Owerri is Ikenegbu and it is just 2 storeys.

Bros, this Orlu you like to mention upandan, have you been there of recent?

There is no one motorable street, no public water supply, pits were deliberately dug in town centre to drain floods instead of completing the town’s urban drainage tunnel started by a former governor from far away Bende in Abia state.

Politicians from Orlu zone since BC have been building Owerri state capital. It’s like they were told that unless state capital becomes like London, no dice for Orlu.
