Having gone through all the replies to the question, I am bold to say that, some people are ignorantly dishing out answers that are not likely come to pass.
The Ondo people will make their minds known come 20th October.
For sake of other replies that will roll-in, please read and digest this before you choose your WINNER.
The political culture and socialisation of Ondo People needs to be studied well before you air or voice your likely winner.
How much of political history of Ondo you know? Are you in Ondo presently? If your answers to these questions is NO, then you have to subscribe your BBM, recharge your etisalat, mtn, glo to get MB for you to follow the election as it unfold on 20th October, because your prediction may be far from reality. Or, you just listened to the NEDG AIT debate and pick your winner? Then, examine this-
MIMIKO-ONDO CENTRAL
AKEREDOLU-ONDO NORTH
OKE-ONDO SOUTH.
The guber seat in Ondo is rotational. The incumbent, Mimiko is on the seat as the Ondo central representative and will leave for other zones to occupy the seat.
Ondo North and South are the MAIN oppositions (AKEREDOLU and OKE). The next zone to occupy the Alagbaka seat is Ondo North (AKEREDOLU). There is a political understanding between the northern and southern people of the state as regards the political arrangement of the ZONING. The Southern people will definitely give their mandate to the Northern man, with the understanding that, a Southern man will succeed him at the expiration of his tenure.
Mimiko as a central man will be counting his losses at the end of the election, because his acclaimed stronghold(Ondo Central) is being populated by people from Southern and Northern part of the state.
Mimiko is LOSING on the political arrangement in the state.

that name in full is FAMIMIKOMI in Ondo dailect...which mean "the diety gave me breath".
His fore-fathers probably had roots from elsewhere but its unconfirmed.
The issue of him not being an Ondo man is always whipped up during election periods like this.

When it comes to issue of Ondo state Politics, only a microscopic mind will not vote for the right candidate. I have no doubt that Dr. Olusegun Mimiko of the Labour Party will definitely win this coming election. ACN is a stupid party. their ideology is not welcomed in this great state of ours. Let Tinubu go and die with his team. We don't subscribe to idiot. PDP has a good candidate but in a poor Party. Let the Man continue his good works. Iroko joooo gba si be ko ma lo be!

We have for long left the era of zoning. The politics we are experiencing in Ondo now is an advanced Politics and not politics of mediocrity. Who will VOTE Akeredolu, a boi that lacks intellectual acumen, is not vast, no Political will, he has no charisma to lead the people of this state.
