How come nobody remembers Eric Cantona? The guy who delivered a stupendous 'Jet Li' kick at an offending fan... and then went on to deliver the most famous insult ever to the English press. Er, a personal one. Emmanuel Amunike: I can't remember if it was 1991 or 1993. Stationery Stores were on the continent (Champion's cup). I was hyped up for the tie (I think it was the quarter final). Stationery Stores vs Zamalek. Emmanuel Amunike scored one goal in Cairo and one goal @ Onikan to send Stores out of the competition. Painful! Friday Ekpo (of Shell of Gabon) for the same reason. |

People don't seem to understand the term "hated" in the context of this list,only those who lives in Europe especially England knows how much Drogba is hated for his antics during games both in the EPL and the continent. People who are calling for Torres and Figo to be included on the list ought to know that Torres is only hated by Chelsea fans for his poor showing in Chelsea shirt after arriving from LFC for £50m while Luis Figo is hated only by Barcelona fans for signing for their arch rival,Real Madrid. The list is very much correct and was compiled by a respected football analyst in Europe, Barton should occupy number one position while Savage with his reckless tackles occupies number two spot. |
