It's quite funny the way ignorant Nigerians comment on 'common' / 'Ordinary' / 'midget' Botswana. A country that was once the poorest in the world at independence but is now a place of fast development and stability compared to the vastly endowed but squanderous giant shi.t-hole that Nigeria has turned itself into since independence. smh 3 Likes |

Mgbadike80: Lagos deports nigerians so why shouldn't botswana? And they even went ahead to say " if you cant and wont comply with Lagos traffic laws, relocate to your village" See where "local" statements and action has landed those in the dispora. While we are making news with traffic laws to the attention of the intl commununity, they are treating our peeps anyhow with immigration laws sometimes even for no offence. |

It baffles me when I read things like this. Botswana deporting Nigerians? Wonder shall never ends. Actually, I will not blame nigerians being everywhere because our rulers (not leaders) have practically made this country unhabitable. What can one say in a country where electricity is a scarce commodity, good roads elusive, good water a mirage and unemployment soaring high by the day. Haven't just return to this country after my sojourn in the UK and the US,I can only say that nigerians (i mean the non politicians) are really suffering. So I will not blame anybody for leaving this country to any other country because to me no other country could be as worse as Nigeria. 2 Likes |

No surprises why these so-called 'second-rate' countries including Botswana, regard Nigerians as migrating pests. |
