Please i want to know if it is possible this days, I mean this century for people not calling their parents or friends from ABROAD for 1 YEAR or 2 YEARS.

Yep. Very possible. Parental contact should obviously be a priority, but it doesn't always work out that way. It also depends on the relationship between the parents, friends and the person who's travelled .

Besides, is there anything wrong with the friends in Nigeria calling their friend who's travelled out? Because communication is a two-way street, it works both ways.
