My own town Oraukwu in idemili north local government area of anambra, we have so many minor deities but the superior/major of them all is the NWOCHA ORAUKWU- A Female deity. Very powerful and as myth has it, she protects us in the olden days from enemies invasion.

In Arochukwu, the two most prominent deities are Kamalu (deity of strength) and Chukwu Abiama (supreme deity). Aside from these two, there are numerous minor deities that are either inyamavia (deities that are said to provide good business fortune) or personal deities (which typically exist in family compounds as masks, gongs, trees, and etc).

In the olden days, upon returning from a long journey, a man would make a small sacrifice [usually of animal's blood] to his personal arunsi along with a pouring of libations in order to thank his ancestors and that particular deity for safely guiding him home.

Mine in Abagana, Anambra is called Ede Aro.
The god is celebrated every 28th of December yearly
with masquerades from different villages competing against themselves.
