It is very unfortunate that in the past years we have been unable to look inwards in choosing our presidents. Apart from those that lead us prior to independence and immediately after independence, those who came to power in the military where the ill-trained,irresponsible chaps that where brought up in houses and not homes.
Those who will call our civilian presidents where all imposed by some political caucus who where the same people that leads us in the military era.
It is rather unfortunate today that someone who might i have thought as a former lecturer knew about this political trend of ill trained people is even worst. Am not surprised because he did'nt craved for it he was just lucky to find himself in Aso rock and been a top rank position he had to take the job.
Education is the most important asset a nation can be ever proud of having. When our educational system is in comatose, who will past through our university and remain the same?...a corrupt,ruthless,devil-may-care altitude run by the same people who had pass through the system.
If our educational system is not fixed,we will continue to produce presidents just as we have done in the past years.
Because of the educational system and the orientation in india, the military stayed in there barracks and allow civilians to take control. Today india is celebrating 30 years of uninterrupted supply of power.
We need a president who can see when we are coming from and know the direction we are going. The worst thing in this country today is the continuous recycling of people who have been in the system before...imagine someone moving from Niger Delta affairs to power ministry...what do u expect? It's failure.
We need an oratory president who can speak boldly anywhere and defend anything at stake.
We need a president who will not give a damn when any Nigerian is badly treated any where in the world.
We need a president who we cross bounderies irrespective of political, ethic, religious affiliations. If you talk about Aminu kano today,a section of the country who are mainly northerners and muslims will fall behind him...talk of Awolowo...a section of the country who are largely the westerners will talk good of him.
It is time to wake up from your slumber and stop using yesterday hypothesis as theories today. I know education matters but we can still use our physical abilities to do something good.
The change begins with you...if you want to move the world, first move yourself.

Op, we can't tell who should be our leader for now. We can only do that when we as a people realise that power reside in the peole and not the gov't or a 'selected few'.

Talking of somebody from ministry of ND To ministry of power, it is literally a display of power by our president and he does that not for what it takes, but for doing sake.
