Officials of the State Security Service in Cross River State have arrested a contractor with the Power Holding Company of Nigeria for collecting N200, 000 to facilitate the installation of a transformer.

The contractor, who is the representative of Effanga Electrical Nigeria Limited, Chief E. E Akpanika, was arrested on Friday after he had gone to the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Calabar to collect the sum.
