From the age of 13 Dj iRank worked with, and was produced by Italy’s “#1″ R&B, soul, Funk and Hip Hop Dj, Gianfranco Dolci aka Dj Ciso.

Dj Ciso was a pioneer. He was the first Dj to break all musical cultural barriers in the 70′s by introducing “Black Music” to Italy. Dj iRank, formerly known as SkillS, recorded a great number of songs with the legendary producer and travelled throughout Europe promoting his own music and opening for Platinum selling artists such as Wu Tang Clan, EPMD, Warren G, MC Lite, Montell Jordan, Naughty by Nature, DJ Premiere, DJ Tony Touch and many more.

After the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001 SkillS/Dj iRank felt obligated to take part and contribute in his own way to fight the war against terror. Although he was not an American citizen, he enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corps for five years. While serving he came to find out that his once producer, friend, mentor and almost father figure suffered from a heart attack and passed away. He stated that he felt blessed to have made it through a vigorous tour in the Marine Corps. He decided to pick up where he left off by continuing to work on his first passion, “MUSIC” and by following in the footsteps of his mentor, DJ Ciso.
