Guys, whom do u think is more populous on nairaland? Was it christian or muslim?

There are way more Christians than Muslims and that's because 99% of Igbos of Nairaland which could account for about 30% of this site are Christians. Yorubas who could account for about the same amount are probably distributed evenly. While other southerners just like Igbos are mostly Christians. We all know there are very few Northerners on this site compared to their southern counterparts.

I don't think there is an objective way of knowing for now cause we really do not know how many people really use nairaland as at today. Though we have a figure for the number of registered users, this still does not tell us how many of these registered users are active. It also does not tell us how many of these users are Christians or Moslems. Also note that we also have a number of people who visit the site regularly but are yet to register.

So to draw a conclusion from the flaws noted above would not be correct. All we can do is make guesses and this would be rather inconclusive at best.

If you work for nairaland wouldnt it be prudent to track such demographics for marketing purposes?

There are ways of gathering such information. This sort of stuff can be a good revenue stream for nairaland.
