Let's be honest for once. If u are a southerner born and bred in core north then u would have noticed that religion is everything the hausafulanis ever care for in life.
They come down South and preach competence and good quality leadership but in their secret meetings they only see muslims versus infidels period.
Its so bad that it has grown to university management. If u r not muslim forget sensitive positions in all govt universities in most north.
So don't get it twisted religion is very important in 2015 elections. Rise up defend it!
