Please friends am about to buy an ipad but an really confused.I like to know if the ipad actually has an inbuilt prepaid morderm that gives it the internet connection or are there companies in nigeria that one pay subscription to?

There's the wifi only that's capable of connecting to a wireless network at your work place or anywhere else; and the wifi + 3G/LTE versions that uses a micro/nano sim cards. You'll have to walk into your service provider to get the sim or cut your regular sim card. Hope this serves you?

Thanks a lot you hav enlightened me but I like to know if the wifi only type requires subscripion fee and if not how will one be sure to hav acess to internet if one is not in a place where external wifi can be tapped?
