thelastPope: I always laugh when I see corrupt masses of Nigeria posting on NL that God is punishing our leaders. Like they are saints! Most of these folks posting here are criminals and yahoo boys. Others are credit card and arangee marriage fraudsters in diaspora. If God really wants to punish Nigeria, most of you posting here will be in serious trouble. Nigeria as a country and Nigerians as a people need to repent. Even if all the governors in Nigeria drop dead this moment, how will that change Nigeria? The new governor of Kaduna state and that of Nasarawa, how different are they from their predecessors? They might even be worse!

It is funny how peeps on NL reason!

No one is claiming saint here my friend, if it happens like that you too is not exempted, if you are not from the devilish ruling class.

Before you call all the nairalanders/Nigerians you must first of all trace the origin of these exploded criminal attitudes of Nigerians. I am not in support of crime/criminals, but the way you sounded in your comment shows that you are among the criminals in Nigeria also. Those who made life hard for people through bad governance, make crimes and violence possible in Nigeria.

Bible made us to know that we should suffer witches/wizards not to live. The ruling class in Nigeria has openly made the less privileged Nigerians to know that, they are their enemies, so they should not expect anything but curses and evil wishes from the masses. I used to read many hypocrites saying ordinary mouth prayers for the sick rulers, in pretense of, you should pray for your enemies, arrant nonsense. If you know what to do to save rulers in Nigeria, better let them know that Nigerians are no longer happy and comfortable with their lives and existences as rulers in Nigeria.

The time of pretence is gone. No one is a saint, but the politicians never include their imperfections in their electoral speeches and promises. They never told Nigerians that they are criminals during their campaigns, they did not tell Nigerians that 1billion naira is not enough to feed them and their elephant children during their campaign, neither did they tell Nigerians that they will spend billions of naira for the importation of generators, while they assured them of constant power supply when elected into office. They never told Nigerians that they will be frequenting German and India hospitals at any slightest head ace when voted into power.

They never told Nigerians that their children will be sent to Togo, Benin, Ghana, Burkina Faso, India and Malaysia for studies when they are voted into power. They never told Nigerians that without constant increment of fuel prices, they cannot rule the country during their campaign. They never told Nigerians that any strike or call for transparency in the Oil sector would lead to an artificial fuel scarcity as the punishment for asking how their oil industry is run. They did not tell Nigerians that the Tokumbo private jets will replace the cars when they are voted into power. They did not tell Nigerians that cars above 8 years will not enter Nigeria, while the airplanes that are above 70 years will be imported into Nigeria without being disturbed. They did not tell Nigerians that the best way to handle criminals and terrorists is to negotiate with them, and settle them with too much money, and lucrative contracts, even giving them licenses to import arms for our military.

Guy in fact you and your co government officials in Nigeria, are not supposed to be met as the first persons in the early mornings. Keep on waiting for good will prayers from the Nigerians ok.

Our Politicians are overstretched and there is no good Hospitals in Nigeria to treat them. We have successful annexed our health systems to UK, India, USA and Dubai. We have also annexed our Judicial System to the UK. Very soon, we will proceed to Ghana to treat acute malaria. Shame of Shames.

sisifunmi: My mother died of kidney related disease few months ago. We couldn't afford to take her to oyinbo hospitals where all dis politicians are running to , naija Doctors were on strike and private doctors were just milking us . When doctors called off the strike, it took us 2 days to get a bed for her @ the General hospital .She cursed them before she died !! Well, I pray God forgive then cos I have forgiven them and may God help us in this country.
N.B. Do we have Minister of health or is it Minister for health? ( Dat can only happen in naija)

thesame with my 37yr old mother who died 2years to a kidney stone . We spent baely 5k-10k every passing day on drugs but all to no avail. Our health system here in nigeria is what my italian friend will call ''badabash''

Why did he not go to University of Calabar Teaching hospital or UCH which is acclaimed one of the best in naija? Or Nigeria doesn't have the money to equip it's hospitals for state of the art dialysis?
