The sun shone darker
the wind blow less
dust all in my face
and my hands unsteady
the heat weighs me down
and the thought kills me
My own head is going crazy
and my lungs scream for air
my blood cloths withing my veins
defying every lesson and logic

Bad news shuts down our system
this dhut down my world
made me sulk and light
without a care in the world
the world passes by
and I care not anymore
care not for the dark world
where the sun shines less brightly
and stars fall from the sky

I wish I could change
but it is like this we stay this course
this course which seems so pointless to me
and all of a sudden I lost it's meaning
the advantage I am losing grip on
and my reality is becoming to difficult to bear
pains in my head
pains in my back
the stars shine dark

Barking dogs feel my pain
as screams fill my head
silent prayers I mutter
but all faith flatter
I want that light back
I want that sun's rays
I want that touch
I want that voice
help me
save me
from me

I can't belive myself
it happened again to me
left alone once more
and none to turn to
source of hope gone
the light on the hill snuffed out
to where do we point?
To who do we look?
who do we aspire to emulate?
and who encourages us?

Now questions go unanswered
phones ring endless
as pulses cease
candles light the sky
and songs are sang
will this feeling pass?
I don't want it to

Bunmi you died

a part of me who looked to you went with you
you were a source of hope
and on the 19 december 2012, you left
already the world looks darker
I will glady exchange places with you
you deserve life more than a lot of us

U just awakened my grief... People say time heals but no, d pain never heals. Time only pushes it beneath d surface and it comes back to haunt you at the oddest moments. All u can do is look back on the beautiful memories u share, hold them close to ur heart, Remember her fondly and pray for her and her family. May God grant u and her loved ones the strength to pass through this and grant her soul eternal peace. Please be strong.
