the ainol novo 7 has different variations. There is novo 7 crystal, novo 7 venus and novo 7 fire. the three I mentioned has their reviews on youtube. there is a review where high end games were played on the novo 7 venus.

Now that the device is no longer available, I just hope they want to do the same thing they did when the low spec N3 was first produced ( 256mb ram and 800mhz)... But if shyt remains the same. Imma go for bolt race whose battery power is owesome ( according to user reviews)

NICE SPECS BUT NO 3G ........NOT FOR NIJA AT ALL

I said "for me". I do have my other phone with hotspot and other mobile networking options.

I need your candid advice about the two phones i am considering i.e. Tecno d3 and n3, i can do without 3g, and needs a great processing power and gpu, can I go with the tecno d3, but my main concern is about unavailability of forums and info about it on the internet and also no assured rooting method about it so far and also many pple just conluded that the phone is a crap without a reason. Can u kindly talk on the above points. Pls ur reply will be greatly appreciated. Thks.

I dont think most of you really understand the function of RAM is a device. The RAM size of 512 is adequent for most operations and processes. Never mind the spec war being executed by manufacturers notably samsung. what do you think is the RAM of iphone 4s? Is it not 512? still yet the cost of used iphone 4s in Nigeria will buy two n7 phones with some change. Presently i use htc phone with 512 RAM, which gives me same experience like my Texno N7. It is not true that n7 lags. If really want higher ram, why not buy gn11 or nexus 4.

the 2gb HD game is going to play perfectly well if the device's gpu and processor are up to the task. the ram only affects the number of applications that can be ran simultaneously.
a 2gb HD game will only most likely use only 100mb of RAM. the rendering of game textures and shading is handled by the gpu and how fast the game makes decisions based on user input is handled by the processor.

I have used both phones D3 and N3, and they all have their pros and cons e.g the D3 have a dual core processor but lacks 3G network, while the N3 is a single core processor but have a 3G network so practically the D3 will be smoother and play HD games better than the N3 but then how long will it take you(if at all it will) to download a HD game like fifa 12 which is over 1.5 GB on D3 with a 2G network? In my humble opinion i think N3 is better.

Wetin I go do na to wait for samsung galaxy grand duos to drop at the same time I wait for tecno to release anoda 5' phone with improved ram

Please check the benchmark for n7 or all these 512 mb phones and compare it to s3!

If it can play it, fine. Smoothness of gameplay and HD can never ever ever be the same.

1gb ram is just imperative. Its ridiculous for n3 and n7 to share the same ram size. I'm not saying n7 is not good but please just leave s3 out of the question..which is why I attacked the op in the first place

benchmarks this benchmark that real world usage is the most important thing, while i know 1GB is better than 512MB and that the msm 8225 in the N7 is slower than the exynos parts in the samsungs, what matters is that while handling the phone it performce very good the interface is smooth and every app works smoothly, what else do you need from a android phone. The ram is small...... you can always do something about that cause android is most satisfying when you tinker with it be it on samsung, tecno or any other brand for that matter.
