I love this n7,it has everything I ever wanted in phone. The Skype video call works perfectly . the flash share app gives me option to receive any application and games for free from other Androids without using up my data. The screen so awesome, not small and not too big. I reduced the brightness to save some battery. The connection is so fast even when multi tasking. This is a great device and it worth more than the money. I started with n3 which gave me interest in buying this great machine n7. I don't blame some people on this thread because they are only concern is games but this phone is more than that. Quick office is available, ability to setup private email accounts, ability to read pdf files, free books to download and read. Many more features. This device is excellent and it can stand the test of the Modern technology. Let those people who know the worth go for it. I love this machine

My question is what is the need for root access. My N7 plays GTAIV and other top games, i send a lot of mails from my phone with heavy attachments, my browsing is on point and the music player helps me ease tru traffic with a very cheap N200 earpeice drumming the beats in my ear. I dont get the need to void my warranty and also why must u install fonts. If u want sexy fonts by a BB.

Depends.dat usually occur when u are browsing and charging at d same time.....which cause heating..as a result of combination of excess load on d gadget.just remove d charger and STOP wateva u are doing. Allow it 2 charge. It will cool down.

unplugged my phone around 8:23pm my battery was 44 percent...and i started browsing.. my operamini, whatsapp, 2go, facebook,adw launcher and ben10hd live wallpaper were running... during dis time i never kept d phone for once, i was hardcore browsinh... and at 11:04pm my battery was 15percent..

so i would say dat d n7 battery frm 44 percent one can browse heavily for 2hrs 30mins before d battery runs flat...

just bought my N7. my whatsapp can't seem to download any apps from play store.
keeps prompting error retrieving information from server.

Sometimes, it's difficult to attach any value to some services expecially when they are affordable (cheap). I remembered when mtn was only sole network provider in Nigeria, I even purchased just one sim card for 28k because I had no other option then. Things changed when other networks providers were given licence. The same things issue happening to some phones companies right now. Nigerians are used to extortion system so they prefer going extra miles to purchase Samsung products and others but unable to discover the worth of this n7. If tecno is not sure of their products they wouldn't have given 13 months warranty. Tecno have come to break the monopoly and extortion of some mobile giants in Nigeria. I love this n7 and am using this medium to say thank you to tecno. I wasn't tecno fans but now I will stand for them anywhere. Leave your comments to help others who are still indecisive in buying this machine.

Depends on how you want to browse, normally when you insert your sim it authomatically brings up the network settings, then go to system settings and click data usuage then switch on mobile data, with this you should be able to browse. The already installed apps are in your menu, they are arranged alphabetically..
