When I was small my mum would buy those things from the market, put them in the oven to warm then eat it with tapioca (kpo-kpo Garri) I once tasted it and it tasted nice. Like pork meat My mum is from Niger-Delta and they eat it a lot there. 7 Likes |

In warri i grew up knowing it as obio-odon i love it cos i can eat it in any form (raw,boiled,fried,roasted) and at the back of my house there's this swamp that has trees which accomodates this sweet delicacy.. Looking at the pic i am already going to buy some4 Likes |

u just made me remember dos good ol' days in d village. dey r truly very delicious and highly nutritious. dey r found in dead palmtrees or dead trees. in my dialect, it is called 'ulomhi' (singular) or 'ilomhi' (plural). wish i cud find some right now. |
