A friend of mine had an aggr8 off 55% , course=eco-stats and her jamb status is still saying "sorry,no admission yet" not even admitted for a lower course;...what could be the cause ?
NB: she's an Edo gal (indigene)

It wasn't all that easy compiling this..Anyway,from the above, it's obvious some of these courses are yet to be offered(or maybe they've been..I just haven't seen ). But I won't deny the hypothesis (yea, hypothesis cuz its yet to be proven) that some of these courses haven't been offered to some peeps who made them their first choice of course. E.g the guy going for History as we've seen (not sure what's behind it..hence, still consider it an hypothesis).


And I thought of doing a lil math to ascertain how many peeps would be admitted in each course and possibly the total number of the admittees, but I got all confused as I didn't really know where to begin. Especially not when I have no viable statistic.

But one thing I can say is..if Uniben is to go by FG/NUC 's directives..No doubt, more students would be admitted this year. Last year, Tho' more were admitted but 5,915 matriculated..So let's say Uniben admitted 6,000 Last year..

N if the carrying capacity is to be increased (as directed by FG)..In Rufai 's words.. " For this academic year, we expect carrying capacity to increase from 400,691 admitted Last year to over 500,000 "

Remember She previously said "only 520,000 out of 1.7m would be admitted"

So compare that 520,000 to 400,691 of Last year. Indeed, there is a massive increase!

I really don't know how many Institutions we have in Nigeria, Even if I do..I still can't state how the additional 100k admission spaces would be allocated among the institutions..It definitely will vary.

But I'd like to state that even before the Postume, there was an ongoing RUMOUR Uniben plans to admit 8,000 applicants ( Take note of the word "Rumour"..nothing was confirmed) &I haven't attended their classes..not once in my life, I'm still a "semi-student" So I can't give my take on that..If it's too much I don't know..The likes of Metaphycist would be needed here (Thats if he's reading this).


So, the above would prolly happen if Uniben chooses to go with F.G's directive..but if not, not to worry..Here's something else..


I've always spoken about the controversial 3rd batch, but it may interest you to know the one of 2011 was released during the physical clearance..Can't say much on that.

But the one of 2012 was released Dec 2nd&5th and the Physical clearance was stated to begin November 5th n to run till November 23rd (of course, only in paper!)

And here's something I found on Jamb admission letter.

No. 3" In the absence of any response from you within reasonable time, the institution to which you have been admitted will assume that you are not interested in the offer and may proceed to fill your place.

Could that explain why the list is released mid-way into clearance? Maybe formalities tho'

but Who are they gonna "fill the place" with? Make your own theory from that.


With all typed, I'm not in anyway trying to give anyone 'false hope' .But simply trying to be logical as possible..Remember I don't know a single soul in Uniben, if I did..it'd have been easier for me.

And those who've been asking me to predict a date, I swear..I can't help here..cuz I cant say what I've no idea on...Jamb&Uniben is obviously playing some stupid games with people's emotion..but if they say admission closes by Oct 31st..should we go with that? Or wait till physical clearance begins? Or wait till next week..or even tomorrow? Honestly, I have no idea .


And please I implore, if your hope is lost, if you've given up hope..I'll be honest with you here..n Maybe...just maybe it's best you leave it that way, afterall "it's always better to be suprised than to be disappointed" not many would like this, but it's the truth.. I've been there,so I know what I'm saying...but please, keep in touch , so if anything should happen..You won't be caught napping.

But Personally, I believe something will happen, for the scores I've seen so far..the irregularities,amongst other reasons listed above,I believe..I strongly believe. But please, your "faith" shouldn't be based on what I believe...but what "you" believe..I don't wanna be blamed at the end..God forbid that!

Please check your admission status every blessed day, with a good browser.. I bet you'll saw my previous post..if you didn't, check it out.

And I believe this is basically all I've got to say about the 3rd list, everything else I say..might just be repetition..n I just had to say it now as I've decided to take a break from here..I haven't been myself in a long long while, dont let my posts deceive you.. right now, I'm just going through a phase in life..I guess n besides, I haven't been in the best of health..just when I think I'm finally okay..boom! Its back again.

But that doesn't mean I'd desert the thread completely,would still be here..not actively tho'.. will prolly view under the guise of guest..to save myself the temptation of posting..seriously peeps, I really need this break..I hope y'all understand.

And those who are yet to be admitted may add me on 2go.."Rileyfreeman11" ..N I know I'm not an active user there, but atleast, I'd try to say "Hello" once in a while..N believe me when I say my heart goes out to you, n I won't stop doing what I can...may the LORD God see us through.
