Welbeck was one of the best united player today,agreed valencia has no business being in that match but I don't think chicharito would have been better, the way the team was set up, chicharito will not fit in. The team was set to contain spurs in the midfield. Overall it was a good game and a point away to spurs is not bad at all considering their form.

No, that is not correct. Nobody was offside in this case. Welbeck passed the ball to
Cleverly who is at the extreme right of the picture. Cleverly then lobbed it over to van
Persie who scored. However, you made a larger point which is that referees allow goals
scored by Man U even if they are scored from an offside position eg the 3rd goal scored
by Chicarito in their 3 - 2 win over Chelsea last year.

That's a good point. We will never know if Man U is really a good team until Sir Alex steps
down as Coach. This is simply because the referees, some of the other coaches and even the
