berem: Nyamiri is a confirmed derogatory word from what i read in Google. whatever the case maybe, it doesn't stop igbos from being what they are. am proud to be a nwada igbo.Google does not say anything that people did not put there. |

babyosisi: When I was still a kid, ASKING of water by strangers was very normal especially in the villages and farm settlements (camps).....I guess you may find it strange because you probably grew up in the city?..... And when you get to the wind up mono pumps, wont you as a stranger ask to be given water by those you met there? |

Afam4eva: You are funny, the last time i visited my in-laws in Anambra State i could not eat the Akpu they prepared. I tried it but i could not swallow it. I was surprised that my son was able to swallow it. The Akpu was like a fresh limestone. |

Speaking of ajaokutamumi and ofennmanu I was organizing lunch for my village convention here in the USA and contacted a caterer to get the food She is an excellent cook I have eaten her jollof and chicken and moi moi and co before but not soups I also added okro and egusi soup and did not warn her to make it easy on the oil Come lunch time,the food arrived and the soups were very very oily,had layers of oil on top My husband's loud mouthed cousin walked in and shouted babyosisi what is this? ( O gini bu ihe a) This one you are serving us ofenmanu? It was very funny,people were rolling in laughter |
