Clark is right, the power those guys have is too much as a forum and has to be trimmed. Do you know that those guys decide what law should be passed or not in the national assembly? That's not acceptable.

Symphony007: you're a bloody plonker for that most outrageous and disgusting question!! Why would you insult an entire region of people because of one outlair? I hope you realise how inappopraite that was.

Bross, no blame me na! Na wetin I de see your leaders de do! No south south leader comes out to call GEJ to order. Instead they see every other person not in support of GEJ as their enemy. Unfortunately, not just d leaders, but even some of the ordinary citizens Iv interacted with.

My thoughts exactly. Can someone tell us what this guy does for a living, so as to afford a "palatial mansion" in Abuja?

Let us ask the EFCC and ICPC.

Well, putting sentiments aside,I totally agree with the elder statesman on this particular issue, these governors are fighting for the selfish interest at the detriment of the country, even all the senators are loyal to them and they do whatever pleases them. Although his call for the president to ban them is preposterous rather the parties should look for a way to contain them before they think they go out of hand.

miiraaj: Are all south south people clueless?

If not that I repented from using abusive words just last night,I would have called your parents and your entire generation stupid and clueless, but I forgive you because you know what you say not,so I will not call you a fool, even if you act like one sha,no I won't.

Considering the infamous CNN interview,i am not sure GEJ should even consider running for a second term.He actually looked like a fisherman from the creeks in Bayelsa.

Which constitution? Is it this flawed document which even him and gej acknowledge. What really is the governors offence. Clark should please point out their offence and i will it better to him.

I agree with Clark.
That forum serves no purpose.

My president that is suppose to call aLl his executive governor and ask how far have they gone, hmmmmm.
Instead of my president to checkmate his governors as a party leader, the reverse is the case.
This shows my president is clueless

The selfish old man wants the governors to endorse GEJ for 2015 just like that. They will be heroes of democracy when they do that. Lol

@topic

I guess this would have made much sense to some people if Buhari or Tinubu had advocated such. undecided

Clerke as usual may be advocating for the ban for his own personal interest, but it has always been clear that governor's forum has been a meduim of intimidation, corruption and blackmail by the greedy governors.

The platform has never stood for anything good or acted in the interest of the governed.

The governor's forum ,especially of the north plan on how to take over Nigeria gradually. Some of them use that venue to plan on how to strengthen boko haram financially. They should be banned!!!

*shakes head* The things a president has to suffer, wat expectations!
How is GEJ supposed to do that? Does Clark not know that people have freedom of association?
But then look at the reply of the so-called forum, so the forum is there to oppose and truncate GEJ second term ambition, another fundamental right guaranteed by our constitution? They gave away the fact that Clarke is right, they are mis-guided! But Elder pls dont give us wrong advise!

He just must entertain Nigerians.
It is Abinibi,not just ability.
Commedy continues.

i'm not from the south. But it offends me greatly why you would insult an entire region because of an outlair. And by the way how many people do you need blasting jonathan. Many has done so, even asari dokubor who once said he was ready to take up arms again if jonathan was'nt made president after yar adua's death. Has said he is a "disappiontment" and even dumped nigerian citizenship. What more do you need? Jonathan's head on a stick?

This old rogue should shut it, who gave him the right to criticise? He is driven in a 2012 landcruiser with escorts and just finished this new mansion but has no business anywhere or economic activity he participates in.

He can not criticise the system that feeds him.
Re: Clark Wants Jonathan To Ban Governors' Forum by ypzilanti: 4:56pm On Jan 25, 2013
Whateva. Freedom of association is guaranteed in the constitution.
