The reaction was to the late launch of the phones in the US market not to the OS itself. In fact analysts like the new OS but a March launch for the US market and and April arrival for the Q10 is not very palatable news. Blackberry (formerly RIM) should have been aggressively penetrating all its markets with the Z10 and Q10 NOW not in 2 and 3 months time. They don't have the luxury of much time to shore up their presence in the smartphone market however the Blackberry OS10 is good enough to stand toe to toe with the iOS, Android and WP8.

BB10 does not support BIS.... Pls can someone tell me why i should get this overpriced device.....

For those saying the BB10 has no BIS, It's not true. The BB10 still supports BIS & BES. You check out more information about the BB10 at www.crackberry.com. At N119,000, the BB10 is still cheaper than the Nokia Lumia which at launch was costing N125,000 for WP8 device.

that smartphone(full name:google lg nexus 4-it sounds like a royal name.lol) can hold its own anyday with the likes of samsung sIII. Yet,its price is suspiciously low($229 or 299,not sure).

Unfortunately,I don't have any. My opinion is based on consumer appreciation when compared to the Bold 9900. If the Porsche was designed strcitly for luxury purposes,no qualms. However, I consider it a big failure if it was meant to have bragging rights over the Iphone 4s/5, Galaxy S III or the HTC One X.

Sorry, that was the pre-order price on slot. But you had to first give them a deposit of N20,000. Even the Z10 they are showing on their site is the white Z10. Are they saying that a white Z10 is more expensive by N20,000 than the black one ?!! Naija Mentality sometimes. smh !!!

Sorry to say, i don't think i can buy any Blackberry device for N100k and above. Not on my watch! Instead I will buy iPhone or Samsung S4 or Lumia. Thank God the price have come down. Q10 is another expensive phone that i can't buy.
