Jobs are not easy to come by for most Africans and Nigerians in particular in Dubai and other states in the UAE. You just have to be careful about how you transact with these so call Nigerian agents whom some of them have not travelled to Cotonou talkless of Dubai.They will earn up giving you a two month tourist visa and when you get to Dubai you will join other Nigerians in Diera to roam the street and be doing hide and seek game at the slightest of Dubai police.
The only jobs available for most Nigerians in Dubai in recent times has been in the construction,and Hospitality sectors.a few Nigerians could also find jobs as security Guards.In the construction Line, most Nigerians work as Electrician, Mason Plumber iron benders, fabricators, as well as General Helpers.they also work in the hospitality mostly as house keepers, Cleaners, Dish washers,waiter, Waitress,and in very rare cases as Front office officer.Salary for these jobs range from 1200 dirams to 2000 dirams.wages for each job position differ depending on exprience,international exposure and qualification.
Its actually hard for nigerians to have white collar jobs in Dubai.
