See now am wary of life
scared of anything that has breath
Sin is my only friend
Heaven has rejected me
I have been cast out of paradise
And o in a disgusting fashion
The Bible holds no meaning to me anymore
Call me aetheist
But am just a boat without a captain
A ship without a crew
That flows wherever the waves leads it to |

Don't be sad When the tears approach When your heart rents to pieces When your knees weaken And your body can't take the hurt Oh my love.. Don't be sad When problems descend When fears encroach When evils envelope And darkness is all you see Oh my love.. Don't be sad When the light at the end of the tunnel is gone When hope feels absent When prayers seem unanswered And no help is in sight Oh my love... Don't be sad When God is with us When we remain strong When we are together And our love is unfettered Oh my love.. We will be happy Dedicated to EM www.juggernautbnyusuf.wordpress.con 1 Like |

Hustlers Prayer Oh God, I know am late again It's been a long time we had this conversation But things haven't been easy I pray I hammer again this time I drank garri and groundnut yesterday I am grateful because some don't even have groundnut Others na ordinary garri Even some no get food Please God up grade my groundnut to chicken and my garri to fried rice The last time I hammered I made several promises to you But the devil came in form of friends, girls and booze. The money vaporized, I still wonder where all the money went. My mum still expects me to bring that girl home My mum needs money for that check up My younger brother's fees are long over due My landlord threatens eviction My girlfriend has a list Work day and night Meagre pay swallowed by mega bills Mega bills mount before meagre pay comes I am a certified debtor and my creditors know I am bad for business, they call me bad credit Oh God, put a smile on my face and I promise to be good Let my hustle yield millions and billions Fuse me to wealth and detach me from poverty Grant me that Midas touch So all I touch becomes gold Upgrade me Lord And I'll never stop bowing before you Amen www.juggernautbnyusuf. 3 Likes 1 Share |

VALHALLA High on the thought of glory he forged on, in the face of gore he smite and smote, bloodlust and blood thirst, his emotions ravaged as he plundered. But deep down he sought respite; through the icy cold hands of the grim reaper, while his hope for glory took a retreat, despair… Overwhelmed by the rain of mortar, metal and shells, and a thermic mix of blood and sand around him. He gave up before giving up, shred to pieces as the inertia lunged him back and forth, he suffocated in his own blood as the bullet ripped through his aorta. VALHALLA!!! Confession at the Cathedral I gave up my innocence to a cooger For some 'Kito' shoes and school uniform, I wasn't seduced nor broken, Or confused like a teenager, I let her words filter my ears soft spoken. I caged myself in the sinful romance; Played with her pleasurable bubble chest That fed my mates in their innocence And pierced the gateway of life with a shameful pounce, In and out with youthful and greenhorn eloquence. It was the first time i saw sin It was the first time i loved sin But that sin gave me sleepless nights As my head and heart engaged in a fight After six century hours the deed was done. My friend today admitted that i look dapper... Should I tell him i ploughed his father's farm, Suckled the remains of his childhood food And penetrated his life's door to look dapper? 4 Likes 2 Shares |

VULTURES AT THE BAR they wait at the bar while he sips to death every glass of poison she walks past in bold strides he thinks of the jolly ride maximizes his male-pride he orders more poison to die quicker, intoxication-wise vultures look on patiently she strikes when the iron is hottest when the man is dead and meat his brain connects with his groin she strikes deep down into his heart with such brutality he sees the folly in every glass of poison done, everything's decimated finances, conscience and fidelity he comes home unable to smile 2 Likes |

Believe! image When black isn't black And the whiteness of white is gone When you struggle to find the grey between Believe When thunder rumbles When the clouds are pregnant And you are out in the cold Believe When infirmity befalls When the body rejects And all strength is gone Believe When the life becomes hard When cash becomes scarce And your pockets run dry Believe When your heart is ripped apart When you sit lonely And tears descend in showers Believe When the sun is gone When darkness befalls And it seems morning will never come Believe When you have toiled When you have suffered And everything just doesn't work Believe Believe For after every hardship comes ease Believe For a soul is never burdened with weight it can't bear Believe For the morning will come even after the darkest night Juggernaut Bn Yusuf |

Guise image So I thought So I saw So I believed A fake Layers and layers Hidden behind curtains Different shades and colours Wolf in sheep's clothing Deceit and lies But your enemy My friend Time He's here He's been here He's always here Biding himself Time peels Time errodes All your lies All your acting Leaves you naked For all to see Naked and disgraced Without a guise Juggernaut Bn Yusuf |

Abeg be gentle with me o, I'm a newbie who knows nothing bout syntax and ish. Just felt your line and couldnt help but dabble. Can I have this dance? Should I take this hand Unto the dance floor I let myself explore As the moment of uncertainty Give rise to a new reality I am held in a trance My heart says take a chance But do I blindly follow Not knowing tomorrow? Can I give in to the rhythm And not expect the blues Can I let my hair down And take of my shoes If I loose my step Will you guide me on? I’m holding my breath But I can’t for too long Will we shoki in the moment of fun and laughter Or will we tango today and waltz there after? 1 Like |

Found I was walking on the water, And swimming in the sand, I stored water in the cup, And drank from the reservoir, I was thinking with my heart, And feeling with my mind, I was correcting all my right, And wronging all my mistakes, I was singing all the poetry, And reading all the music, I was painting the perfect picture, And failed to see the perfect feature, As I had thought, my mind was in perpetual motion, I was lost, I had to take this potion, Now I am back to reality, And I had faced my adversity, Am sure, I can now focus, On prosperity. Old people, lol, old people, the thought is really funny, They walk, or hobble around on their rollers, Calling kids sweetie or honey, Now they are old people, but once they were in strollers. Started off needing help because they were babies, Ending up needing help as...old people, Wheelchairs with rims, The rims that spin and spin and spin! Old people are loving, Some of them are hating, But all those old farts, They're so cute with their voices that are raspy and grating. Old people drive the expensive cars, With the money they have saved thoughout their life, Its funny like my mom wearing her Indian sari, When you see an eighty year old man in a Ferari. |

AWAKE Gifts from the gods lies therein In the heart of every man Who seeketh it, to find. For somedays I am left to ponder These secrets, which I have come to know Lies therein, but rumbles like thunder Only if we would let it grow. Gifts from the gods lies therein But here lies a man who blames the gods For that he deserves not, but is still therein But here lies a man in mud Only if He would wake that which lies therein I know two kinds of people One grows and one kills I know two kinds of people One wakes and one slumbers I know two kinds of people THE GREAT AND THE UNGRATEFUL. We do it In the right And wrong places We do it Even when we are broken And likely to destroy it if we find it We do it Because there's a hole in our hearts That won't rest till it's filled We look for love Because love completes us In the giving and the receiving Not one or the other Though there's a fear And so we hold back I need you to love and care for me When we should do to that one As we want done for us Russian roulette Or a Mexican standoff Who will shoot first Who will love first Who will love more At the risk of not receiving Who will give more Who will give all At the risk of a broken heart Still the hole remains Which we endure For fear of a broken heart. |
