if u use either 4 or 8... U wil arrive at d same figure...i.e jamb score 160, cbt 40...... 160/4=40+cbt(40)=80/2=40....... Or 160/8=20, cbt40/2=20.........20+20=40...... So its d same wiv either 4 or 8.....

what is written on the site means cut-off will be released later and does not mean you will be admitted regardless of your score... And to those that their score is low, just keep praying.. Because i know someone who had 51 last year and wasn't admitted for mass communication, despite of the person's high jamb score.. Last year's cut-off for mass comm was 53 and not 50 that someone is speculating.. Just pray and be optimistic..

u are wrong, d jamb counts alot coz dats how they generate their cut off, 4 example, last yr cut off 4 pub admin was 46; if they dnt add jamb score they cnt cum up wit dat cut off coz d cbt score has carries 5 marks per question i.e. 35, 40, 45, 50.....

this question is that how did they start thier exam on that very day,did any1 expirience any case of no space of inputing thier Reg. no and ID,because mine did not show a space in the BOOTH 5 279 computer that i sat to write my pume exam....but the invigilator said i shd just click start and begin the exam,so if any person especialy the category of this various pple that wrote on day3 23rd Augt,pls help when i tried to log on to check my result it say NO CBT RESULT YET!

Av seen my result since yesterday i even got a mesage frm d skul! 4 d system problem u should av loged out d studnt page u met dere nd login wit ur own jamb reg no. So wateva u did on dat day its 4 d lst studnt dat made use of d system!

Lots of gud information, likewise lots of misleading information....
As u wait for the release of the departmental cutoff, pls note that there wont be wide changes to the cutoff from previous years....e.g accountancy that is 48 b4 may b changed to 46 not 40, if changed at all.
If your score is relatively low to d course of ur choice, i wil advise u go for change of course wen it is available.
Buss admin, local govt studies, Office tech mangt, purchasin nd supply, insurance etc all have relatively low cutoff marks like 26, 30.
