Fulani herdsmen have reportedly killed 10 persons and injured 15 others as they attacked two communities in Nasarawa State Saturday afternoon.

Tragedy struck in Nasarawa State on Saturday afternoon as Fulani herdsmen reportedly attacked communities in the state, killing 10 persons and leaving 15 injured.
The attackers armed with guns, knives and axes were said to have stormed the Iga and Rutu communities in Nasarawa Eggon and Doma local governments respectively between 2 and 4p.m., catching residents unawares as they left immediately after the attack.

Sources say over 50 Fulanis besieged Iga through the bush and started destroying any property in sight, killing eight inhabitants of the area majority of who were said to be farmers.
“Nobody was aware of the attack. Some of us were under the tree and suddenly we heard some people screaming, shouting, and calling for help. By then, the whole community was in confusion commotion, and everybody needed to run and hide somewhere,” an eyewitness said.

Following the attack, the corpses of the deceased were said to have deposited at the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) in Lafia, the state capital.
At Rutu village in Doma Local Government, it was learnt that the middle-age farmer who was an Eggon by tribe was shot alongside his son as he tried to move out some of their belongings from the community.

It was gathered that the deceased and his son had successfully packed some of the belongings and were trying to escape on a motorcycle when the assailants caught up with them and shot them.

i no longer know which is deadlier fulani herdsmen or Boko haram. But they both have one thing in Common. There victims are always Christians. While the fulanis choose to kill indigenous Christians, Boko haram attacks immigrant Christians(southerners). It's high time Christians dropped their Bibles and picked swords. Turning the other cheek is not relevant in this Situation.

These albinos called fulani shd be gathered together and send to somalia. They are just bunch of drunks and killers miaming innocent people without any reason. If their leaders cannot call them to order, then the country has no choice other than to uproot flush the bingos and cattle parasites away from Nigeria.

There is one thing we know how to do very well in this country, and that is '' to keep on complaining without taking any action''. When we address that, maybe we will see some changes.

Fulaniiiiiiiiii poweraaaaaaaa......I wonder why people always complain when the fulanis obeyed the principles of one Nigeria as prescribed by Gowon. I am in love with this fulani herdsmen because they kill in the spirit of one Nigeria and indivisible north. Soon they will demand for 50 billion naira from federal govt as compensation for not killing more. Fulaniiiiiiiiii poweraaaaaaaa

Can't these herdsmen be separated somehow, with grazing land of their own for their livestocks? Must they intrude in other peoples property? FG should better find a way of caging these LUNATICS, cos they are quick becoming another terror group of some sort. So FG should beware!

"Quietly" but Steadily, the fulanis are achieving their aim in central Nigeria: forceful colonisation. Their divide-and-rule tactics have so far paid off. They started by attacking the Tivs whom they have always regarded as their major obstacle to subduing the whole tribes of the Middle Belt. When the Tivs were under attack in Nassarawa and Benue states recently, Alago people provided shelter for the fulanis and their Malian mercenaries, some Alago youths also took part in the attack on Tiv villages. Koro and Eggon people refused to join the fulanis so they too became targets of the attacks. The dual-game plan, as always, is that after the Tivs who constitute more than 70 percent of Doma LGA are chased out, all electoral positions in the affected areas go to the minority Alagos, while the fulanis take over Tiv farm lands as grazing fields. The fulani-sponsored massacres of the Tivs in 2001/2002 across Nassarawa and Taraba states, which culminated into the infamous military invasion of Zaki-Biam, ensured that not a single Tiv man or woman contested for elective posts in the two states. (In Taraba state, the fulanis used the Jukuns). Unknown to the Alagos, the fulanis's selective attack on the Tivs was to avoid having to fight many tribes in their own evironment at the same time. Now that the Tivs have been totally dislodged from Doma, it is the turn of the others, including their former allies-the Alagos, to be chased out. Many Alago (Agatu) communities have been destroyed by invading fulanis and their Malian mercenaries in Doma LGA and a few other places in Nassarawa state. The Rice Mill premises in Lafia is now home to refugees made up of many Alagos, and other tribes. One hopes it one day dawns on the bickering tribes of the region that their survival lies in coming together to free themselves from the fulanis; since govt has clearly demonstrated palpable incapacity to control this wild group of people-The Fulanis.

How old are you? How many states have you been to in Nigeria? You just have to mature from this religious/ethnic bigots you have, there is no way how you can identify a muslim or christian in Nasarawa because they all dress alike, only if you see them in the mosque or at the church.
The news said they attack the villagers and instantly in your own FOOL mind you turned it to religious crisis.
Have you forget Ife and modakek fight that last for years?
You dont know about OFA and Erin presently fighting? Are they Fulanis?

UNITED we can stand
