I haven't come across a tablet that has a modem port. Most have mini-usb ports and i don't think any modem can work on such ports. If you have any link of such tablet, please don't hesitate in sharing it. Thanks

Yea, that is why I said most. I also use E173 and it didn't work on the 2 Tabs I have tried it on, though I know someone who used it and it worked (on another brand). SO it depends on the Tab and also on the Modem.
