@ phranco.., you are nt to ask d igwee dat is in dubai what importers buy most over there. there are diff. importers 4rm diff. parts of d world dat goes 2 dubai to buy cheap goods base on what sells or d demand in their respective country (local) markets. if d igwe should should tell u dat dis is wat importers 4rm other countries buy, and u go their to buy without doing ur own local research of what sells here.. if u come back and d goods u bought did nt sell well, who is @ lost? do u local research first b4 going 2 dubai 2 buy. go into d markets around u, talk 2 retailers and distributors 2 no what and what sells fast. 4rm there u will ve contacts of distributors and de rest dont be in a haste, take ur time and gather enough info. d market is large in nigeria base on what d people(market) want. where are u base at? if it were d igwee, he would say 'dis is my 2 cent advice, hope u find it helpful.

samee72: The only flights leaving from Abuja to Doha that i know of are Ethiopian and Egypt air,ethiopian will have a stop over at Adis ababa while egypt will have a stopover at cairo, qartar aiways, emirates and etihad all leave from Lagos but i heard there's an arrangement between emirates and arik, that Arik take emirates passengers to Lagos where they now board Emirates, but i'm not sure of this cos i normally travel myself to Lagos by any airline or by road then i board emirates

the Dubai international hotel located in the arrivals hall by gate 23 is worth checking into,it is only for passengers in transit,however if budgets don't permit you,they have a lovely lounge area where you can relax on comfy sofas and have drinks/food/snacks etc.the airport can keep you occupied for a couple of hours, loads of duty free shops...enjoy you layover bro

wandered round a few shops and used the free wifi!

@phranco........to add to what henrimoto suggested, all that you listed below are some of the stuff importers from Nigeria and other part of Africa do come to Dubai to buy, the onus is on you to make adequate market research in Nigeria, although, you might arrive and find some other hot stuff in vogue, but,what l do know from my personal business experience in the UAE and my interactions with other importers, if you do your home work very well, you will definitely make a profit......goodluck

You are absolutely correct, nothing really much, except the duty free shops and just wandering around, but ,that could still be fun because it enables you to relax before connecting your next flight....

@bellosulaiman, can you go back to like 3pages before this page, we have suggested the way forward to you, again, since you have the employment visa, and if it is genuine, l guess the firm/company that offered you the employment will be in a better position to advise and tell you how to contact their consulate/embassy in Nigeria to issue you the visa, we may not have all the necessary info for you here, liase with the company in Kuwait and take it from there......l hope this helps you?...goodluck

Getting a driver's license in Ajman.
Location: Dept of Traffic and Licensing, Ajman
GPS coordinates: 25.410762,55.510022
Required Documents:
Emirates ID
Visa Copy
Passport copy
Business registration certificate
No objection certificate (in Arabic)
Request for Driver's license (letter in Arabic)
Labor dept's stamp and signature card

Stage 2.
Go to the location.
Submit your documents to police guys at the gate.
They will issue you a queue number
Go to the counter when called
Pay 170 Durham
*They didnt waive classes for me on Nigerian drivers license .
You will directed to a room for Eye test.
Send the documents back to first counter you visited.
She'd submit your file to the next counter
At this counter, they take your photo and issue a data card for stage 3.

Stage 3.
Go to Qeyadah Driving institute -next to the traffic and license dept. with your data card and passport.
There you will asked to pay 1350 dirham for lectures, textbook, and signal test.
