The best way is to celebrate it every leap year. For example, if you were born on Feb. 29 2004, you will be 1 year old on Feb. 29 2008, 2 years old on Feb. 29 2012 and 3 years old on Feb. 29 2016. My 2 kobo! 1 Like |

Happy birthday to a fellow leap year baby like me chaircover.... We are so special dat on none leap year we celebrate from 28th feb to 1st march. I usually don't celebrate on non-leap yrs- I kinda wait for every 4yrs. I got to work dis morning and my mailbox is full of birthday messages from colleagues, a cake sitting on my table, breakfast with drink served..... And lots more. I missed my birthdate but am so grateful to God for another years and his numerous mercies upon me. 1 Like |

Normal celebration but it is celebrated once in four years. Why do we need Leap Years? Leap Years are needed to keep our calendar in alignment with the Earth's revolutions around the sun. It takes the Earth approximately 365.242199 days – or 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 46 seconds (a tropical year) – to circle once around the Sun. |

I know from world professors who deliberated on this issues 20years ago @ havard agreed on 28th February.Though one can also take it over to 1st March, the former looks more accepted. |

We that were born on 14th February nko?? The lady requests for a gift on that day instead of giving me one I get called and wished 'happy valentine' instead of 'happy birthday', to make matter worst - Goldie come take over the day in death (forgive my insensitivity)... If you were born on the 29th nothing special o, you are normal! Pick another date in february to host your folks (if you so wish) or just wait for a leap year. The key thing should be your remembering to thank God for seeing you through yet another year, not just the merry making attached to birthdays! Out!!! |

dedons: I pray i get hooked up wit such a lady...@least,i'll only spend on ha birthday, once in 4years Ah, you may not be correct on that one. You'll end up celebrating 'landmarks' every 4 years, meaning that you will spend far more than you would have. What do you take our ladies to be? Fools? |
