5) In camp, wht kind of sport/game re played there mostly?? (Am a scrabble nd a football player)
6) Wht CDS is fun 2 be in... Nd wht group in camp is best 2 join
7) 3G network in d state nd where it is more active
Lastly, hw cam one influence PPA to (3) above??

so many questions! Well, am a batch b corp member serving in benue and I happen to be a nurse. Different parts of benue has different wheather. Gboko for example is not too cold nor too hot but makurdi is very hot!it is better tobe posted to cities like otukpo, gbokon makurdi etc than the villages cos some of the villages are far! There might not be network! As per CDS, wheather you join one on camp or not,you will be assigned one at your local government after posting, so don't bother your self. In terms of network, MTN is worst in benue state. Etisalat and zain might have 3G at times. I don't know how to influence PPA cos I didn't influence mine. My candid opinion: come to benue state with an open mind that you can be posted anywhere, and pray for a favourable posting. Have it at the back of your mind that benue is an HIV state, so becareful,99% of my patients are positive!lastly, if you are not a medical personnel, you will not earn well!!!

Hey! I served in Benue 2010 and it was fun! Served with the Idoma tribes in otukpa Ogbadibo Local Government! Initialy I dint like the place but with time I became aquinted wit the whole place! Wanune camp has changed unlike b4...and the issue of HIV state! It is true but don't be scared! Abeg chop ur life well well! But be vigilant!

One word for this camp is TERRIBLE.
I had to buy pure water to have my bath for d 1st 2 days, along with many others too. And i've gotten so dark my picture pisses me off. It's not funny at all.

vivichocs: camp facilities r ok....state pays 25k at end of service yr, 4 those that wrk in state facilities..buh hospitals pay 30k monthly..hope to c u in camp..

Contrary to wat we were made to bliv dat camp facilities are ok and dat arrangement hav been made to mak sure we are comfortable. Here in Bunue state Wanunne camp, d reverse is d case. Almost all camp facilities hav bn commercialised. Here. U pay to bath, shit, wash n so on. In contrast to ds practice, i bliv d NYSC Hdqtrs hav made made proper provision for al ds n dsbursed funds for it but it is quite unfotunate here dat we r not enjoying anytn abt NYSC. As a matter of fact, we being treated lyk money spinning machines

I got a slight problem...I wasn't able to report to benue camp as at when due because I had a slight operation and I wasn't cleared by my dept so I heard that those that were posted to yobe and borno states should report to nasarawa and benue states respectively on april 4th 2013...now the question is it possible to join those borno corpersto go to camp in benue by then...if yes ?also what necessary moves can I make o ensure that ? Thanks as this is giving me serious breakdown th

I Was posted to agatu local government for my ppa, only the town where the lg is got electricity the remaining villages no light, no single tared road. As for network just dont think of MTN, Airtel and Etisalat are ghost but Glo is very available. May God help me

Benue is not too bad, but the weather I must say is verrryyy hoot..prepare to wear singlet
Electricity is ok..esp if ure in the state capital,ccrnin ppa,the only best place for ppa is a state/ fed gvt hospital...nd that's if ure a doctor...myb 50k per mth...but sinc ure an engr...companys don't really pay much 8k-15k
On camp u hardly have time to do anytin...xcept inter-platoon competitions
