A 1983 TV model can only be useful to mentally challenged persons today. As far I'm concerned, a 1983 TV model, is only fit for the dust bin today. That is where Buhari and his ideas belong.

Buhari/Fashola in 2015 is a winning ticket only if the election would be free and fair.

Hate him as u may, the fact remains that there's no candidate that's as popular, hence can sweep the Northern votes than Buhari in a free and fair election. Northerners love him, and thats what matters most. It is obvious Buhari is the APC consensus candidate.

As far as the 2015 election is concern, the SE/SS vote is insignificant. In 2011, Buhari won 13 northern states despite efforts by some northern politicians to steal votes for GEJ. With GEJ unpopularity, Im sure in 2015 he may win even more states. With Buhari winning atleast 13 northern states, his campaign posters need not show-up in any SE/SS states, because the SW states would determine who would win the coming elections. Hence it makes no sense for APC to field Rochas or any SE candidate as their VP. APC needs Buhari and a VP who can get the SW vote, and that candidate is Fashola. If Fashola as Buhari's VP can deliver 5 states to APC, then the game is over!

Even if GEJ miraculously wins all SE & SW states, he still need to win some states in the north to win. If Buhari on the other hand clinchs the Northern states, he only needs some SW states to win. As for stealing votes for GEJ in the North, I dont see that happening again. Those northern politicians who were responsible aint gonna risk it, not after the riots and backlash that followed. For the first time, northerners went on rampage burning houses of their politicians and emirs, whom they thought were in GEJ's camp...Hence, for any northern politician to participate in stealing the elections for Jona in 2015, would be tantamount to suicide. The inferno may swallow him and his family. GEJ IS ON HIS OWN as far as the northern vote is concerned.

The SS/SE votes do not matter? We heard that during the last elections and we all know how it all turned out? You really think the votes of millions of igbos scattered round the country do not matter? Even in lagos too?

Since when do Igbos become the majority in Lagos, and since when do Igbo votes matter in the North or SW for that matter?
As far as I know Igbos vote only matter in the SE where they are the majority. Pls, if there's any North or South-Western state you know of, in which Igbos are the majority pls tell us.

Re: Comment If You Support Buhari by Nobody: 7:42am On Mar 11, 2013
In a free and fair election, Buhari/Fashola could afford to loose all the SE/SS votes and still win the 2015 election by a huge margin. Its a fact many of his haters find hard to swallow, hence shaking in their pants whenever and wherever the name Buhari/Fashola is mentioned. grin

Just like jonathan can afford to loose all the SW votes and still win the election.we all saw how far SW votes could go in the 1999 elections

The election will go like this

SS/SE/MB vs NE/NW/SW we shall see who will prevail

For one I don't regard Niger as a MB state.if you think states like Kadunna and Lagos are going to APC you better think again.Yes GEJ will win in plateau, benue, taraba, kogi, kwara, nassarawa

With his inept performance, GEJ is not gonna win those states u mentioned - Benue and Plateau may be, atleast not without massive vote rigging. With Fashola as Buhari's VP, GEJ may as well forget Lagos.

If Buhari could win 13 northern states in 2011, he's likely to win more states come 2015 considering GEJ's inept performance. Say Buhari wins 14 states in the north, which is still a conservative estimate, and Fashola (as his VP) delivers 5 states in SW, thats a checkmate.
The more states Buhari wins in the North, the less states he needs in SW. GEJ needs SE, SW and states in the north to win, but Buhari needs only some states in SW. You tell me who has the upper hand in a free and fair election!

GEJ's security problems are induced by the north. We won't succumb to blackmail. You must be really dumb to think Buhari will win with his the bigoted comments he has made in the past.

You like Dayoanku are really ignorant about how things really work here.Elections are not won on state basis here but rather simple majority.A candidate can win most states and yet loose the elections. The populations of SS/SE people living in the Sw/NE/NW is not really commensurate with the population of Sw/NE/NW living in the SS/SE/MB that's why GEJ was able to get about 8m votes in the north while Buhari got 12m.That seems to me like 40% of the votes. Now how many percentage of votes could Buhari get in the SS/SE?

So far, av not seen a better candidate capable of bringing in enough votes neccessary to defeat the killer party.

The constitution says simple majority with 25% in @ least 2/3 of the 36 states.it does not really matter who wins the states. It is simply majority of the total votes cast with 25% in 24 states. If buhari keeps winning by 50-60 percent and Jonathan keeps winning by 80-90 percent of even fewer states,he would be reelected.

@ Those who are against Buhari presidency, the best way to understand your plight is simple.
Buhari will deal with you, abandoned you in prison once you/father or relatives found culprit of looting public fund. The case of Bola ige and other Nigerians that have lost their lives in the course of liberating you and I will be re-visit and the killers will all face the wrath of the law. There would be an implementation or enactment of policy that will make oppressors and oppressed feel the same. IBB and co will end up spending their lives in jail.
These set of people are the one brainwashing youths and directly subject them to permanent waste. They often call them waste when it comes for a search on leadership.
Nigeria youth, stop been a fool and embrace all method and efforts to ensure your glory and hope are re-install.

Excellent. Now that u have picked up the rules, u can now see that states are important. Depending on just one or two zones aren't sufficient.
