Hello Friends,

If you subscribe to both high-speed cable Internet and cable television, you may have the need to connect both your modem and television to the same coaxial output in your home. Your cable modem needs to be connected to a coaxial output in order to receive a signal exactly like your television does. This can be achieved with the help of a two-way cable splitter.
1. Purchase a two-way coaxial cable splitter. Make sure the splitter you buy has one input and two outputs.
2. Power off your television and cable modem. Disconnect your cable modem from the coaxial output in the wall.
3. Connect your splitter to the coaxial cable attached to the wall. Make sure the cable coming from the wall is connected to the "In" connector of the splitter.
4. Connect a coaxial cable to one of the "Output" connectors of the splitter. Connect the other end of the coaxial to the cable modem connector.
5. Connect a second coaxial cable to the other "Output" connector of the splitter. Connect the other end of this coaxial cable to your television set.
6. Power on the cable modem and cable television. Make sure both devices are working properly and receiving a signal. If not, recheck your connections to make sure they are tight and connected correctly.

Thanks and Regards,
