In 1king19:4-8,wen Elijah was so discouraged,he asked God 4 death bt God gave him food.God knws ur need.Sometimes,one can b so confused 2 d point of askin amiss;if u re in dat situation,instead of ur wrong request,God wil give u wat u did nt ask 4 dat wil meet ur need.Psalm 118:17 says "I shall nt die,bt live,nd declare d works of d LORD". Wen Elijah received food instead of the death he requested 4,his hope arose.Wen God gives u sumtin different 4rm wat u asked,knw dat He is in control of ur life.Similarly,wen Elijah realised dat d meal he was eatin was Heaven baked,his hope increased further.It showed him dat God had nt forsaken him. Hebrews 13;5 says,"Let ur conversation b witout covetousness;nd be content wit such tins as ye have:for he hath said,I wil neva leave thee,nor forsake thee". Dat d enemies re chasin u does nt mean dat God has forsaken u.Wen u make certain personal request bt dere is no answer,nd u pray 4 odas nd d answer comes,knw dat God has nt forsaken u. U re only goin through a phase which shall soon pass away.Wen God says He wil neva leave u,enter ur rest:He is ever wit u.Situations nd circumstances do nt remove God 4rm u. Ur feeling does nt remove God's presence 4rm u.He is dere wit u whether u feel Him or not.As long as u maintain an unbroken relationship wit Him,if u enter into a hole,He is in d hole wit u.If u re in a prison cell,He is wit u.If u re in d palace,He is wit u.If u walk wit dis revelation of His ever abiding presence,ur attitude 2 situations nd events wil change.Ur prayer wil be different.Ur confidence level wil be different.Go ahead nd praise Him 4 keeping His promise 2 ever be wit u.
